Barry is very professional both in his performance and in his presentation. He wore a full formal kilt outfit with all accessories to our event. He knows how to engage with the audience and all of our guests enjoyed his performance.

I had Barry Gray perform for my 60th birthday. He added a great liveliness to my party and represented my ancestors country brilliantly.I actually had a Latino party but mixed Scottish and Old Australian tunes to the afternoon to cover all aspects of my life.Barry even had us doing a Scottish jig.Fabulous performer, fabulous party. Pipers of Distinction have piped at the Memorial services of two of my beloved family members now, and I can say that the piping in of the casket has brought tears to eyes of family and friends due to the haunting beauty of the pipes and the expertise with which they were played. Thank you for making my father's funeral very special. We had a piper and a drummer and they were wonderful. Many of the guests also mentioned how wonderful they were. Thank you again to all involved.

We engaged the services of Pipers of Distinction for our wedding and they were absolutely fantastic. Playing solo, as well as alongside our church organist, they added an extra dimension and emotion to our wedding, it was absolutely magical! In fact, many people have come back and told me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Not only this, but Pipers of Distinction were also able to sort out kilt hire for many of our guests. This was invaluable, especially as many were travelling from Scotland. I am also pleased to report the kilts were of a very high quality. My cousin and I decided to hire full kilt outfits for another cousins of ours wedding. Needless to say Barry was very happy to accommodate our efforts with very reasonably priced and high quality kilt hire. His love for Scottish heritage is very commendable and made us first time kilt wearers very comfortable. Our outfits at the wedding where extremely popular and I look forward to doing further business with them sometime in the future.

Barry Gray of Pipers of Distinction played the bagpipes at a funeral service we organised recently. At very short notice, Barry was able to provide his services and extremely reasonably priced. It certainly added to the occasion and was greatly appreciated by the family and friends in attendance. Barry has a repertoire of more popular culture music as well as traditional bagpipe music. Barry was extremely professional and his response time to queries was excellent

Do yourself a favour and book this company for whatever event you are planning. I called Liz 4 days before my dads funeral and was so grateful Barry was available. Liz made the booking process so smooth and Barry played the Bagpipes exceptionally well. They even gave us help / advice on how to stager the music. My dad was a true Scot and he made our celebration for dad so moving. Very reasonable rates and the service impeccable. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
