Great public golf course, and 1 of my playing partners got a hole in one on the 13th

As a tag member I love the course even though I travel down from Rowville I always enjoy playing and meeting new members

Excellent course. The staff are amazing. Tag prices are very reasonable. The connected club is very welcoming regardless of skill level.

I started playing here in the 90s when it was $9 concession and if you wanted to play another 9 holes you presented your ticket and it only cost $4.50. Since then the bean counters at the Shire have lost touch with what being a public servant means. As a Shire-owned facility it should be something given back to ratepayers. They try to compare MMPGC to proper courses on the Peninsula to justify price hikes but this course is not in their league by any reckoning. It's a fun short course for beginners, juniors, the aged and infirm etc but a real golfer would just laugh. Only two par 4s are over 350m and a lot of the rest are drivable - five of them less than 300m. Great for building confidence if you're a hack like me but as soon as you step onto a real golf course, reality sets in with quite a shock.

Mount Martha Golf Course is always a great challenge . Well designed layout with very tricky greens. The reason for the 4 star as opposed to 5 was my inability to sink a putt and my subsequent lack of confidence with the putter and upset with the greens.Maybe I need to practice my putting more?I've decided to install a putting green at home.Sorry Mount Martha! Maybe when my putting improves you'll get a five.

This is a very well looked after course and great for players of all levels. It also has a good combination of par 3,4 & 5 holes. A really nice course and I would highly recommend it for a round.

The course is great, very forgiving & the bushes aren't too dense if you hit a wayward ball. Soaks up the rain really well & greens were nice & fast. Lady at the counter (Bobbie?) was unnecessarily rude for no reason - we arrived 5 minutes before our tee time and this seemed to upset her, no one booked behind us and the group in front were still teeing off. Great course, poor customer service. Don't dream of asking for a beer before 11am, you will be judged harshly.
