Great service they will bend over backwards for you but the food is and has been grosse. The batter is old meats are expected to be cooked even if starting to go off. One great girl that worked there refused to cook some steak that was going off so she was sacked on the spot. It's deadly is food poisoning imagine if touring and get ill it's just wrong. Chips and coke might be the best way to go.

Best fish and Chips in Lilydale. Great for on the go or just a sit down and have a meal. Great friendly staff with a reasonable price range and a good selection of food and drink choices.

I have had a total of 14 visits and counting and each time my expectations are well and truly met. This truly is a fantastic place to get some fresh hot chips. A thin outer layer provides just enough crunch to satisfy even the most astute chip lovers. Good atmosphere and friendly staff.

Used to be a great place. Not anymore. New owner is rude, doesn't stock much food anymore and the quality of the food is terrible. I got 2 burnt dim Sims, a soggy spring roll and an ice coffee for $11.50. Over priced too

This is the best chip shop in Tasmania! Clean and tidy and a full range of great Tasmanian food. We go there often and have always been impressed and satisfied. I've heard it said there is a place at Devonport that comes close but hey the chips would be cold by the time we got home :(

Best old school burgers.Forget all those overpriced fancy burgers with ingredients you've never heard of, take the short drive out of town, and wrap your smack talker around one of these rippers.They also have the newer style burgers if that's your fancy, but my recommendation is to ask for the old school burger with the lot and make sure you get beetroot and pineapple otherwise you're missing out on the whole experience.
