The experience with Shutterup has been very pleasant. Dan provided a reasonable quote and was very personable and genuine to deal with. He was not pushy about making the transaction, he provided and responded very quickly with the details and left me to decide on what I wanted to do. Brian, who he sent out for the install was also very nice, efficient with installing, happy to take the time to answer any questions and also tied up after himself. The whole experience with the Shutter up team felt warm (family like), it just gave me that peace of mind and confidence about the company, and the experience was exactly that. They are passionate about their product and making the customer happy. I recommend them to any others thinking of installing plantation shutters.

It was a pleasant surprise to then receive a competitive quote that beat every other quote by far in both price and quality. Byron and Phil were fantastic during measure and installation and Andrea in the office was lovely and accommodating to our needs. We are thrilled with the shutters and the service provided by Shutterup Blinds and Shutters. Everyone involved in our job, ie Andrea, Dan, David and Byron were focused on achieving the best outcome for us. The shutters are quality products.The team communicated with us every step from our initial showroom visit to each stage in the production process and installation. Window measurements were double checked for a perfect fit. The appointments for home visits to give advice, sample checks for colour and design and installation were always arranged in advance and on time on the day. All round a good experience. We can recommend this business to anyone looking for blinds and shutters.

What a murky pond of dodgy door to door salespeople in this profession! And then there was David from Shutterup Blinds & Shutters. Super nice guy. No sales spin, no cheesy presentations, no shark fin poking out of his back, not pushy, not trying to upsell or sell me a set of steak knives if we looked at more windows. He was on time, prepared and professional. David reviewed what we were trying to achieve, asked a few questions and gave some ideas for me to ponder. He did not speak in blind or shutter jargon, moreover plain English and explained the finishes, colours, warranties etc. The good old co-vid lock down meant that David and his competitors were rushed off his feet with people staying home and renovating or improving their space, just like us. I was juggling working from home, kids and listening to him quickly. There was no sit down and make my ears bleed with your 1-hour presentation that I didn't have the time for, that competitors wanted me to do. The payment process to confirm my booking was easy. The owner came to visit to ensure measurements were spot on prior to putting into production. And then there was Ian the installer, complete with his own stick vacuum. He was careful, thorough, clean & tidy, and professional. He asked politely if he could back his van up into our garage for easy access. David, (the owner, name escapes me), & Ian were all great blokes, easy to deal with, professional and I would highly recommend. The ladies in the office were prompt and efficient. The only downside is now my desire to get more windows done is high! Ian laughed at install telling me I was the perfect customer and not the only one who has felt that way. Thank you, what a team!

Are theses guys still open? Or they ran away with my 500 dollar deposit? I made payment in April and can’t get any update or communication from them. Anyone having similar problems?Update: One week after posting the above the blinds are coming.

Every person we dealt with went above and beyond to ensure a seamless process from start to finish. We got exactly what we ordered, exactly when they said we would, and we are thrilled with the look and quality of our outdoor shutters in a tricky old, crooked house. Whoever recruits for Shutterup needs a pay raise! Awesome people and a rare pleasant experience in the world of home improvement.
