Elders Real Estate Townsville

*attention Owners. For the last 8-12 months I have been dealing with elders Townsville to assist me in lodging an insurance claim. Their refusal to provide documentation has caused me (in this case my fathers estate) to loose thousands of dollars in income. Their lack of inspections enabled the tennants to trash the house causing damage in excess of $20000.00 not to mention that the tenant didn’t pay rent which went unreported for over 3 months. By the end of the lengthy process it appears that 6 months worth of rent at $270 per week is now not recoverable from the insurance because they cannot find the files. The principal agent was totally ineffective in dealing with the situation stating that his staff had “years of experience” and he “doesn’t need to micro manage them”. I spoke with the state manager and was rewarded with more excuses and being told that the agency was doing the right thing. So it seems that their lazy, ineffective management is rife through the state. I hope that any home owner that has had issue with this business gets on and rates them as I have done and hopefully we can save someone else from having this issue.

Girish handled the sale of two of my properties and found great buyers extremely fast. Communication was fantastic with regular phone calls to update me on the progress of offers, legal matters and settlement details. Prior to selling, I had been renting these properties through Elders for the past 3+ years and Priya and the team have been exceptional. Girish is open, honest and and worked very hard to be me the best offers on both properties, including managing open houses, tenants demands and buyers queries. I highly recommend Girish and his team and will be using Elders again for future purchases and sales.

The owner and the staff were all very friendly. We have just come over to Townsville and they updated us about the available houses for rent and managed to find a house for us in the suburb we were after.

The lady Alison seem friendly but the male who answered my call was abit rude and speaking in a unfriendly manner maybe, when answering phone call be more kind and friendly when speaking even if your having a bad bad/morning.

I used elders when I first arrived in Townsville and they were very helpful in helping my find a rental property. I have recently engaged them to manage my rental property and I am more than impressed with the service. They go out of their way to find the right tenants, its a win-win situation for both landlord and tenant. The service has been great.

We rented our property through Girish the proprietor of Elders Real Estate he is totally dishonest and lies.When it came to the tenants vacating Our unit.It was left in a filthy state and Girish blamed us their were photos taken and documents to support that the tenant had not properly cleaned.This agent Girish who is the proprietor was very abusive and aggressive towards us the landlord.Would never recommend this agency for selling or renting your property in Townsville.
