Don't know why happy has eaten Gelato" but I bet it was tasty. Newly opened galeto and fresh pressed juice shop. Also serves cake. Although they are using recyclable plastic spoons but I would recommend them to use other sustainable spoons."

I’m not a local, but I’m in the area every two to three weeks, and I enjoy going to a few places on Union Road, and this is one of them. Made in house, fresh creamy ice cream, with flavours to suit everyone, and they have a variety of vegan options as well. I love how this started from combating food waste, staff are friendly.

Awesome local gem. Seriously competes with the top ice creameries in Melbourne. It's all made fresh there, you're not getting some mass produced junk. Artisanal ice cream on demand. Owner is a legend too. You want support local, here's local right here. My recommendation: go get pistachio. Hot tip: they do cakes and choc tops!

I have been coming here for a while now and will always keep coming back!The Gelato is great, the flavours always changing (with the usual staples there for those who love routine - snickers I am looking at you!)It may be a bit more pricy that other places but it is really clear where that goes!Grab yourself a takeaway pack to take home for tv watching and a come to eat on the way!

Newly opened gelato place in Ascot Vale. The place is very spacious for a gelato shop and the interior decor is bright, simple and neat. The yoghurt and passionfruit gelato I tried was light and smooth in texture which I loved. The quantity of a scoop ($5) was pretty generous too. It seems they are introducing juices and cakes as well. Worth a visit.

What a great variety of non-dairy options (oat milk ftw!). Service is excellent every time as well, which is why we always go here for our ice cream fix!

My eldest and I drove over from the South East a week and a half ago and discovered this little gem. We came back with the whole family today for a drive specifically for the rest of us to try out Happy Eats! We were not disappointed! The ice-cream and sorbet are to die for. The friendly staff let us try lots of flavours before we settled on Tim Tam, Chocolate Sorbet, Hazelnut, Chocolate Ice-cream and Coffee. Delicious! Highly recommend and worth the drive over. Have already recommended it to friends.

Milkshakes were really disappointing, very small and not much flavour. The gelato was nice enough, but a scoop was smaller than most other places, there were about half as many flavours as a usual ice cream shop, and there was a hole in the bottom of the waffle cone so it ended up melting everywhere. Basically, everything was disappointing and not worth the price.

Tried the Cherry Trifle and Tahitian Vanilla today and it was very good indeed, in fact so good I wanted more as the scoops I got were far less than you should receive when you buy icecream. To the HEG team please give ‘appropriate’ portions for the price you charge. Otherwise very yum
