I had a basic cut and blow-dry here and was extremely underwhelmed. The stylist didn't know how to cut hair properly, in fact I had a friend come up to me later that night to tell me I had hairs at the back that had not been cut and were visibly longer then the rest of my hair - MORTIFIED! Also the owner of the salon (older women with dark hair) kept trying to hurry my stylist along as she had a 'Colour' for her (ie - more money than what I was paying). Terrible experience, will not return and would never recommend.

I cannot believe I decided to go to this hair salon, even after my bad experiences I’ve had with it before. You’ll never get what you asked for, they cut your bangs far too short and the way they work is inefficient and unnecessary. Not to mention how their services are extremely overpriced and slow. I once asked them to cut my bangs just below my eyebrow and instead of getting what i asked for, I got bangs way above my eyebrow and a bob cut I did not asked for. Now my hair is jaggedy and fans out weirdly because of the haircut I got here. I definitely recommend going to a different salon.

I am the friend mentioned by Sam in below reviews. I am very non-confrontational and would usually ‘just cop it’ if I had a bad experience with a business, however this experience, and the salon’s response, has me feeling that I have to speak up. On Wednesday, I booked an appointment with the salon, grateful they were able to fit me in on the same day. I requested a cut and to dye my regrowth platinum blonde, lightening all my hair. I left that night, crying, with patchy, definitely not blonde hair (photos attached). I said that it wasn’t what I had asked for, and Bridgette, who did my hair and another stylist insisted that I looked great and ‘this will look so much better when you have regrowth’. Looking at myself in the mirror made me so sad. The other stylist told me to sleep on it and come back after 5PM the next day if I was really unhappy, but that because of the bleaching they had done that day, they wouldn’t be able to get what I wanted anyway. I noticed more patchiness that night. I thought a lot about whether to return or not, as I had had such a negative experience and did not want to go back to that salon, however I did not want to have to pay another salon to fix their mistake and needed it resolved quickly.I called the next morning and confirmed that I would be returning that evening. I was very nervous to complain, but it was clear the service asked for was not the service received, and I was feeling terrible about myself. I requested the support of two of my friends to be on standby as I was not feeling confident I would be able to assert myself.For the business to claim my friend “walked in trying to con a refund” is disgustingly false. My friend came to support me in advocating for myself to walk out with the service I had asked for, and when it became clear that it could/would not be provided to me, quoted the relevant consumer laws. He was polite, and firm, and we both listened as it was explained that the service could not be provided due to the mistake made the day before, but the business owner interrupted him multiple times. No threats of violence were made and when asked to leave ‘so we can clean; it’s a safety issue’, both my friends immediately left to wait for me outside. My friend was also absolutely not ‘bullying’ me in the salon. Sam spoke on my behalf with my consent as I was feeling so upset and uncomfortable, I was unable to do so myself to the extent it was clear was necessary.The owner spoke aggressively to me while I was near tears saying “What do you want; do you want me to fire her? I’ll do it!”. I don’t want anyone to be fired, and I believe Bridgette made an honest mistake and further training should be provided, not disciplinary action. I also believe it was incredibly manipulative to attempt to put that pressure onto me.To be crystal clear, the result was NOT in accordance with the consultation and quote. What I was given on Wednesday and what I have now is not what I requested. While I am accepting that my hair in its current state is miles better than it was on Wednesday, and I like the cut and colour well enough, to say I was ‘more than happy with the result’ is a grossIf I were a business owner, I would be doing everything in my power to ensure that the customer is happy and if they don’t get what they asked for because a stylist made a mistake, and I was not able to fix it to give them what they originally requested, they are not charged for services.The way the situation was handled by staff was incredibly inappropriate and doesn’t reflect what you would expect going into a hair salon. The staff caused me so much anxiety and emotional distress, near to the point of triggering a panic attack. When it should’ve been a fun experience the way the owner spoke to me and my friends is not okay and the way she appears to have spoken to many other people in the reviews here is not okay. I hope this behaviour gets addressed, and the best way to do that is to take business elsewhere.

I received a haircut and it was an amazing haircut, I loved it. But. I have never been more uncomfortable during a haircut. The older man who cut my hair was incredibly creepy and kept asking me if I was “naughty” after I said I did not need a style because I was going to get my hair dirty because I was heading to the gym later. I was so uncomfortable he continuously discussed how naughty I was I just awkwardly laughed the whole time, uncomfortable, surrounding workers did hear I believe but did not comment. Keep in mind I am a minor. I am happy with my haircut but I am so uncomfortable. He made comments about how the world needs naughtiness because the world “has gotten too politically correct” since covid. He also seemed to be under the influence of something and not sober. While he was nice, he was so creepy and I wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Genuinely upset and not sure how staff could of ignored his behaviour as a 45 year old+ man speaking to a teenage girl.

I went to bondi hair on a whim as I just needed a very simple cut so I didn’t think it mattered where I went for it. They could see me straight away which probably should of been a red flag but I didn’t over think it. It was a male stylist ‘eddy’. I asked him to just cut the very back of my hair as it was sticking out. I shaved my hair off a few months ago to regrow it after years of damage. I told him this and kept repeating to him just the very back of my hair where it sticks out. He then caped me and started chipping away. He was chatting to me non stop about his personal life and asking me questions about mine. I felt uncomfortable and was trying to find a moment to ask what he was doing as I only wanted a quick cut. By the end I saw thinning shears full of hair in his hand. I asked why he had thinned my hair as I didn’t agree to him doing this. He just said he only thinned a bit of the back. I was speechless and honestly after all the hair mishaps I’ve had over the years I just felt numb and couldn’t believe someone had ruined my hair again after doing what should of been the worlds easiest haircut. Then to put salt in the wound, as I got up to leave he hugged me which was awkward and in my opinion inappropriate for an older male stylist to do to a young girl especially one that he has just met. I emailed the salon to let them know what happened and maybe give them a chance to explain or apologise but I got no response. Just avoid this place!

Andrea did an awesome job on my dry damaged hair! she looked after me all the way from beginning to the end. Great value and great service. I am so happy with my haircut and colour. She did a great shampoo and did not leave me with my hair wet while serving other customers. Nice staff and good place overall.
