First time at Sloans.  Jake was great and he did an amazing job cutting my hair.  Thanls for his professional advice and service.   I will definitely be back here.

Had the best experience with Sadie. She talked me through every step of the cut, colour and style, and the outcome was perfect. Walked out of Sloans feeling so happy. Only wish I was staying in Sydney for longer so I could book in again. Definitely recommend!

David my hairdresser has been absolutely wonderful! He made me feel comfortable immediately so I knew I was in safe hands. David has been incredibly professional, kind, and most importantly - achieved the the most amazing results with my hair in just 3 appointments! I can’t thank him enough. I’m sad to be leaving NSW but if I do come back, I know who I can trust with my hair.

I visited Sloans North Sydney on November 4th to have my hair coloured and cut prior to an event. On initial consultation with Jordan, I told him that I wanted to have creamy light brown foils (3/4 head). He told me he understood and then made me sign a form that says they don't offer refunds, before he had even started. After five hours in the salon, I left with grey foils. Some started at the roots of my hair and others half way down my head. There were obvious bleeds along the scalp and the root my hair was yellow. He bleached my hair to the extent that I started to have breakage the next day when brushing my hair. I then booked an appointment with another hairdresser my mum knew who I had confidence could fix my hair as I did not trust Jordan to do so. After sending 2 emails to Sloans to have this rectified, as it was almost another $400 to have fixed, I received no response. I then called the salon and was met by a very rude Jordan who told me that's what happens when you go blonde" and "I'm not giving you any money back

Staff were so lovely and made me feel so comfortable, so happy with my hair! Would highly recommend Celeste, she was so welcoming and I walked out with exactly what I asked for.

Fantastic cut and blowdry from Christiano and I have incredibly thick and wire-y hair. Even my husband has commented on it several times! I also really appreciated the open and honest advice from Jordan about what treatments (i.e keratin styling) are safe or not during pregnancy.

My hair is amazing! Jordan mostly does my hair but everyone there is excellent. Very nice atmosphere and I trust him with my hair completely. The salon and hairdressers have won multiple awards and it really shows in their work. Everything is very reasonably priced considering level of excellence there. Jordan and the team are exceptional!

I am writing this review as a caution for anyone who books via the online portal also a major caution to use Yodit. Please be prepared that no fault due to the salon what you booked is not allocated timeframe to get the result you desire. I learnt this the hard way 6 months ago when I booked a hair cut and half head of foils.My previous hair dresser who had gone on maternity leave had always charged me for the same service but I had learnt the hard way that what some some salons count as a half head of foils is different to other salons.Long story short I was booked in with Yodit, while she was shy she informed that the salon was unable to complete what I requested, I politely accepted and walked out so happy that I even arranged a second appointment. Once I got home in the natural light of my home I could see obviously bleeding but didn’t want to offend Yodit.I went om living my life and to my shock and horror Yodit had only heavily bleached the front part of my head, no wonder I walked out happy as I only saw the font of my hair at the time. I appreciated Yodit informing that she wasn’t able to fulfil my request what I didn’t expect her do was highlight only the front part of my hair. That was never communicated and I assumed that Yodit would evenly distribute the bleach within my hair.I signed a waiver so understand that the salon cannot fix this due the time period since the appointment so decided to write a review instead. Whatever you do not use Jordit as your colourist.

Jake is AMAZING. I have been to him twice now for a cut and now a cut and colour. He really listens to what you want and also gives great advice on what he thinks would work as well. Such a lovely atmosphere and all the staff there are so nice and seem like a really solid team. Definitley would recommend.

So happy with my hair today! Stumbled upon this salon by accident but they did a great job on fixing up my hair, the manager and staff were also very kind and understanding. Had a simple trim/cut and blow dry by one of their junior stylists and I was amazed by the job she did (sadly, I cannot remember her name) but either way I very much enjoyed my experience at Solans and would highly recommend it!
