Overall the place was beautiful, lovely spot to get back into nature and enjoy a weekend away with friends.However. The restaurant was closed and under Reno’s which wasn’t made aware when we booked. We didn’t come prepared with food and had to eat what was available at the local convenience store.We rang the owners once we saw it was shut and their response was why this place got 3 stars and not 5. She was dismissive and “didn’t see why we were disappointed” - a little customer service goes a long way. No apology for not letting us know in advance, no customer service whatsoever.

Fern’s Hideaway was so lovely and tranquil! The cabins are spacious and clean! This resort is so lovely for a romantic getaway or family getaway. Highly recommend!!

The lake view cabin was extremely relaxing and beautiful. The welcome bread was delicious! The whole experience was relaxing and well needed. Will definitely be back.

Thank you so much to all the team at Ferns Hideaway Resort, We had a fabulous time at our recent stay.The tranquil bush setting surrounding our cabin was perfect for relaxing bushwalks and adventurous canoe rides. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and tennis courts. Last but not least the sumptuous menu at the restaurant also added to our enjoyment. We highly recommend Ferns Hideaway Resort for the perfect getaway.

Stunning cabins, great location. Cabins are all private, service is fantastic and byfield is just stunning. The creek is perfect for swimming and canoeing. ❤

We were booked for 3 nights extended for 5 nights amazing place to stay. Management are very friendly and hardworking people. Would recomend it

Amazing.My partner and I were struggling just up the road at water creek cause of the humidity. Anna was thankfully still awake and was able to organise us a cabin. What a place it's so beautiful tranquil and has such a homely feel to it.We stayed in the Pioneer cabin it was beautiful I love how the doors have a pulley system very old school.We would definitely come back here if ever in the area it's stunning the gardens the service was exceptional.Thankyou so much AnnaEmily & Corey
