A & A Motel

Ive been lucky enough to stay at the A&A motel in proserpine for the last 2 nights and as someone who has worked within the travel industry aswell as the hospitality industry I found the owners to be very hospitalable and friendly, they informed me of events going on in town and they themselves were very relatable as people. The motel itself is on the Bruce highway but I found that the noise didn't effect my sleep at all with the owners also recently having acquired new beds aswell! The location itself is 5min from the main part of town which makes it easily within walking distance of anything this little town has to offer and one evening I even locked myself out and had to call the after hours line with Leah the owner herself kindly coming out and opening the door for me with no problems whatsoever. The room was clean, large and has all amenities you would expect of a motel, I would recommend this place to others and definitely would not mind staying again.

Wonderful stay with really nice staff who allowed me to check in early. The room was huge and spotless and the bed so soft and comfortable. The Easter Bunny found me there and left a lovely surprise. I will def stay here again.

Stayed at this motel recently. Lovely spacious room and very clean. Bed extremely comfortable. The host was absolutely lovely. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed here for 6 weeks whilst working. Could not be happier with a home away from home. Owners are friendly and helpful and deserve full credit for making you feel welcome. Pool and bbq facilities

Extremely Rude Manager! Will never recommend.I booked through Wotif and the condition was free cancellation at anytime. Unfortunately, due to COVID we had to cancel the trip on the day. I called the hotel (8am) and the staff advised we will get the full refund. Also I got the confirmation email from Wotif that we will get the full refund. However 3 weeks later we still didn’t get the refund, so I called the hotel, the manager answered. She said that she is not responsible for what Wotif advertised and she can’t give refund. When I explained that I can send the advertisement details I saw, she said “if you listen to me I will give you one night refund otherwise you get nothing” and hung up the phone. Two months gone, still not even one night refund. Wotif advised they called her several times and no luck. Not sure how these rude and dishonest people still run the business.

Room was spotless, I got in very late, and thanks bed was comfortable, and tee/coffee well stocked. Better than the two holiday resorts I stayed at in Airlie beach, give the cleaner the thumbs up

What a gem of a place to stay. The room was excellent. Spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable and breakfast was just how it use to be. Thank you for a great stay.
