After one of my colleagues vomited from the smell of garbage while trying to dispose of cardboard at Rockdale Cleanaway, this place was a refreshing change. No garbage smell! And no need to lift cardboard into a 2.5 m high container. We dumped a van full of cardboard on the floor in minutes. They even provided the fluoro vests we forgot so we wouldn't get trampled by the dozers. It wasn't too busy when we arrived but there didn't appear to be an obvious queuing system in place, which may be an issue for a single weighbridge serving both arriving and departing vehicles. I can only guess the staff would have to manually direct traffic?

Very helpful and friendly staff in the office and great team in the recycling centre.
