Dropped in on Sunday, (27/02) we ordered a couple of fish burgers, well they where very nice, soft bun crunchy salad and beautiful fish. Great service and a great price. Defiantly worth the stop. Keep up the good work guys.P.S we did stop at the Cafe next door but couldn't get passed the $22 for a burger. So very glad we went to the General Store instead.

The hot chips were a great price, delicious and fresh with the perfect amount of salt! Don't use the digital tyre inflator though, waste of money with lots of error codes and slow inflation. The reader was also inaccurate by a few PSI, and all this while it eats your coins that could be spent on delicious chips!

Went there today for our 41st Wedding Anniversary for something different. Lovely location, friendly owner. We had a Preston Burger with the lot & a deluxe steak burger, we have not had a great tasting real burger from any store for several years. They were fantastic in flavour, the salad was great, layered lettuce leaves, nice thickness of tomato & cucumber, finely grated carrot, chees slice top & bottom of burger, fried onion, bbq sauce not over done, egg cooked to perfection & the bacon was great. We sat outside to eat it under the tree in the gentle breeze.Went down to look at the ocean & then back for a treat, a ice block. I spoke again to the gentleman & he was so kind, polite & helpful. I am taking our daughter & son-in-law when they get over here from their travels around Australia, and letting our eldest know for her & her hubby to bike it down there when they have a day together. This one I will promote.

We just stopped on our way home and got 2 large chips and they were the bomb, HUGE servings and taste amazing we will definitely stop next time we come to the beach ⛱️

I normally come here in the mornings for an egg, bacon and cheese roll and a cappuccino. It's not actually on the menu, but you can order anything you want from any of the ingredients on the board. It's a good barista coffee, same for the roll. You can get fresh bread from their in-house bakery. I also get mossie coils and gas cylinders for camping at Martins Tank and the prices are very reasonable really. Open all year round, so half of the year it is your only option in Preston Beach. You can sit on benches outside. The staff are very friendly and quite chatty. They stock something of everything, rental DVDs, Fishing gear, frozen meals, booze, fresh bread, they will make you burgers and things, pretty huge menu really, fresh coffee, they open early and close pretty late. Great little shop, be sure to drop in.

Awesome fish n chips! I HIGHLY recommend, The staff were absolutely Lovely and very friendly and the owner Clint was Great and very attentive.and the Fresh Hot bread was to die for!If your ever passing that way most definitely make your stop here!great prices food and bottle shop and awesome customer service.Thanks Preston Beach General Store :D

MOULDY HOT DOG BUN!Ordered a hot dog from there and noticed after a few bites the bread had mould on it, being pregnant does make the situation worse as I immediately didn’t feel well. Just a heads up to double check if buying from here.
