Ipswich Visitor Information Centre

Clean and tidy toilet and shower block on site.It is manned by volunteers and they can provide you with a wide range of information.There are books and maps and souvenirs available,and drinks.

My elderly friend bought a few ice creams for my kids thinking they were $1.95 each and told me when we got home he was charged $14...so I was pretty disgusted. I spent some money and luckily checked my bag and went back to get what was missing... It was the bad taste in the mouth of the day unfortunately.. Happy Father's Day to us. Yeah so check the prices carefully and make sure you get whatever you buy.

Our Nambour 90 Probus Club [ 30 members] spent 1 week visiting the Ipswich and environs area and had a thoroughly enjoyable time experiencing the delights and varied activities of this area. Our whole week's program was organized by the Ipswich visitor/ Information Centre and each day progressed smoothly with our activities, Morning Teas, lunches / dinners all arranged. Our days ended with a Happy Hour at our accommodation - Willowbank Caravan Park and included a guest singer from Fernvale, Kodie Sloane to entertain our group.Although only 2 hours from our home, our ipswich experience was different and refreshing. Everyone who was involved in looking after us was friendly, helpful and keen to provide us with the best time and memories of our 'Ipswich Experience'. Thank you to Hayden and he team at IVC. You all did a fantastic job and we will certainly share our experience with others. Well done.

Great centre, on arrival after a 5 hour drive and an hour crossing the border in the covid crisis I was extremely impressed by the facilities. Great easy access toilets, nice shady veranda and As I walked in I was treated by a smiling helpful Moira. Excellent.

Lovely staff good variety of souvenirs, maybe add some embroidery patches?

Sunday 2023 May 21st morning, Informative, knowledgeable, helpful friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble for these two ladies, it was nice to share common interests.

What lovely staff and so helpful. They went out of their way to provide me with the brochures I required and they are so knowledgeable, nothing was a bother.
