Red Hill Rail Trail
Good riding spot. Mostly downhill from Red Hill Carpark with a steep up hill section in between.Beautiful hill scenery and distant bay views.

A beautiful walk. This track has been preserved between houses, farm land and other commercial developments.It is an easy walking track will take 3 hours up and back.Dog friendly.Shared space for walking, running, bike riding and horses.Amenities include bike service station and toilets.

I ❤️ this trail... it's just absolutely awesome to be able to ride and exercise my race horse... blessed to have such amenities in the most amazing place on the Mornington Peninsula

A beautiful spot for a walk on a sunny, chilly afternoon. It is a shared path with bicycles and horses so it is boggy in places.

Nice easy hike with vistas over vinyards. Good access and parking at trail head. Facilities include a nice little playground with picnic tables and bbq. Toilets are near. Across Road is the grocer where you can get a coffee, drinks, lunch ect.

Really nice walk, very picturesque, lots of birds a few rabbits and farms with cows and horses, the round trip from Red Hill to Merricks is close to 11km, note there is only one bench as a rest stop 1.8km from the start, the trail is up and down and took us 4.5 hrs with a short break.

Red Hill Rail Trail
This is one of our favourite walks, we have done this all on foot, the kids have risen their bikes at times. It is an easy walk there are some hills, however, we’ll worth the effort. If you are looking for a enjoyable walk you will not be disappointed.

A great walk that gives you incredible views of the farms of Red Hill and the bay. Nice to stop at Merricks general store for a drink and bite after the walk too.Would recommend

Red Hill Rail Trail
You can't really not like this place. Beautiful walking track in between farmland and huge tall trees. Track is a bit muddy though. It's shared with cyclists and horses. Gorgeous place to be.Just be aware that on the weekend it is packed with people, so for bike riding I would go on a weekday.
