Dolce & Salato

Delicious cakes and desserts! Only small issue I've ever had - our Tiramisu log was half-frozen one time (we get the all the time, and they're usually super fresh and amazing, but just this time it wasn't very nice). Otherwise, very happy with this place!

The food is great but the coffee is usually average at best. Ordered a coffee today which is one of the worst coffees I’ve had in a long time. It was obvious the coffee was burnt before even drinking it. I took it back and the barister made a new one which somehow came back even worse. Coffee still burnt, now the milk was overdone and had obviously re-steamed.

Tucked away inside the Tony Ale market this Italian coffee shop is a godsend. The staff are the so kind and helpful and incredibly quick at making coffees. You should definitely try the cannolis if you are after something sweet. Cakes and pizza are great value with pre-orders encouraged for parties/events.

The continental rolls aren’t too bad. I haven’t had their coffee for a number of years, but the last time I had one, it was below average.Pizza is usually pretty good.Love the arancini balls too .. fantastic.

Shame on this store, cutting back staff so they choose the mature age employees instead of the newer and unproductive employees. Even senior managers have admitted via message. In their cost cutting the coffee shots have been decreased while a new cheaper brand of coffee. Most items are delivered to the store frozen so those cheesecakes etc are not actually freshly baked at Fremantle as per belief

For years I have been going to Dolce & Salato, both the one at Tony Ales and Fremantle stores .This morning at about 10.30, I thought I would give me and my daughter a treat and stop at the shop to get a hot drink and a little something sweet.I ordered a hot chocolate, small black coffee, a chocolate eclair and a Tiramisu from a girl behind the counter who looked like I was inconvieniently interrupting her morning. (Okay we all have those morning)My daughter needed the bathroom so I told her we would come back to pick up the drinks.5 minutes later another girl behind the coffee machine was ever so busy changing her bins, so I asked if I could grab our drinks please assuming they must be done... No I was pointedly told she was getting to them!So not long after I was given our drinks.I didn't take a sip out of mine until I had left the shop and was next to my car. It tatrd burnt and very bitter. I went to the outside window and politely asked if the first girl that served me could make me another one . The second cup made was almost as bad as the first. Instead of wasting time I just asked for my money back. All good ... yeh! NO.As I drive out my daughter complains that her hot chocolate tasted yuck. I honestly thought she was just making a fuss. No it was not nice at all.But the final strae to my bad experience was when I went to put my fork into the Tiramisu to get a bite and it was Frozen!Who knew you can freeze Tiramisu. More than just a little peeved.But on the upside the Eclair was nice.It will be along time before I return

wish I could give zero stars but this is worlds worst D & S shop the staff is nice and friendly but the food I trash like all of it. don't go there

This is the first time we ordered a big birthday from Dolce & Salato, on Hammond Rd and they did a great job. All of us including our friends lived your cake. We only found about you 6 days before the event and placed the order ignoring some of the other big names in the market. Would recommend you highly. Please maintain this quality.
