Nasty company, after claim was denied, car was not returned until complained to financial ombudsman.

Terrible customer service with bad Approved panel beaters.

They worked hard, to find a way to not cover me. We make payments to these people incase we need help, and their employees get paid well to try and find a way to not help. Crooks

Worst insurance company to deal with. I’m in contact with the ombudsman’s office, due to the outrageous and disgusting behaviour.I would not recommend.

Stay away with these guys . Cheap insurance cut corners .

Worst insurance on the planet, drags their feet the whole time l, delays the repair. It’s just pathetic

Terribly disappointing service. I have got car insurance with Budget and have recently had a small accident that threw out my steering and left a VERY small amount of damage. I do not have choice of repairer however have selected an A &G preferred repairer who can have my car on the road tomorrow.. yes, TOMORROW (3 days before Christmas!). Budget are so worried about it not being my local assigned repairer that they are not even looking at the quote they THEY SAID TO HAVE SENT THROUGH TO BE LOOKED AT AND APPROVED OR CASH SETTLEMENT and want my car towed to the local repairer who can't even look at the car until January 5th (until then it will sit at the auctions untouched). I have followed what they told me to do by getting the quote sent through for assessment and now they won't help me. I am a real estate agent and have a 3 year old. I have paid the $1,900 excess without any delay and done the hard work of locating the repairer and having everything sent over. Absolutely disgusting customer service, I've been hung up on once and the other time told I'll call you back" with no call back. I will be taking my 2 home insurance policies and car policy elsewhere as soon as this is sorted. Devastating and misleading."

Terrible customer service. Took 4 weeks to then sent my claim and advise me it could be another 5 business days until my car was towed back too me. In that time I would have had to pay for a hire car and they would reimburse me instead of organising one as soon as I was without a vehicle. I had to call every time to get an update on my vehicle and then also paid a monthly premium 1 day before finding out my claim was denied. I then asked to cancel the policy and for a refund to be made which sounds fair but the said no refunds given for this circumstance. They really must be on a “budget” if they can’t even pay someone who has Had many different types of insurance over the space of 4 years with them $160. Pathetic service!!!

Ridiculously bad insurance company with the worst communication. Do not get a policy with them, it’s not worth the money you think you’ll save once you spend hours on the phone trying to get a straight answer from them with a car sitting in your driveway for weeks undrivable. Most frustrating experience ever.
