We use talking therapy to keep our relationship fine tuned regarding any troubling issues we can't solve on our own. Sandy was great with her mix of cognitive and solution focused therapy. This very quickly helped us climb out of the mud of silly bickering & come up with simple ways to avoid an annoying negative pattern we had developed. In hindsight it all seems obvious but when you don't take responsibility for your emotional reactions blame can cause a cascade of unnecessary pain.
