Tocumwal River House

Last weekend we drove 3hrs north of Melbourne to Tocumwal and stayed at the most wonderful and homely place – Tocumwal River House.We had 2 families of 5, with 6 children in total and at no stage did we feel like we were on top of each other. The entire house is beautifully decorated, with the most generous and cosy lounge we’ve ever seen! There is so much space for everyone. Our favourite was the 2 amazing balconies to sit back and relax on.Located just across the road from the Murray River, an aviation-themed splash park and only a short walk to the local shops, pubs, and the most delicious ice creamery. This place is so close to everything that we parked our car on arrival and only hopped in it again to drive home.We were lucky enough to be there on the same weekend as the local foreshore markets and the Murray River Rod Run, which saw the cars cruising right past our place, letting us enjoy the view from our balcony. Such a beautiful and relaxing spot, we will definitely be booking it again.
