Went yesterday for lunch. Pretty mediocre, frozen fish with too much batter (more batter than fish). Should be able to see the fish through the batter. Came with good chips and a lovely salad.The band was great but far too loud to hear people talk.

Stopped in with some friends on lazy afternoon. Amazing coffee and some local beers. Staff friendly and helpful. After a short wait food was great. Lucky enough to catch some live music in the outdoor area.

Staff was nice and food was delicious. I got the pancakes with maple and bacon and they were the best pancakes I’ve ever had, crispy bacon and perfect amount of maple! I highly recommend Tukka to anyone looking for a good feed.

the food and atmosphere was amazing, me and my family came and got brunch here. we’re from canberra and this has been the best food we’ve ever had, better than any cafe we’ve been to in canberra. my kids got milkshakes and they were the perfect sizes, they were able to finish it all and not want anymore afterwards. the portions of each meal were amazing, my kids could finish their nuggets and me and my husband could finish all out food aswell. this place is amazing and we will be returning on our next trip.

Disappointing. Went for a quick lunch on Saturday and ordered a wrap and French toast. Food took 40mins to arrive and they we not busy at all. French toast was one slice of bread, some blueberries, spoonful of ricotta and honey. Not good value for money considering cost of $19. Bubbly wait staff.

Loved the cool vibe, had my usual flat white and the custard tart which was delicious. Local art on the walls and a friendly staff make it a 5 star visit in my book.

Set inside the old bank built in 1892, this cafe is perfect for dining in alone or with a group.Plenty of original features mixed with photos and art to make for a great dining experience.Staff were lovely and the breakfast food and smoothies were great.Highly recommend stopping on you way through or while staying in town.

Breakfast on a Sunday morning. Looking around it felt a little run down on the interior and almost a loss of love for the place. In a time where people are returning to social dining and competition for patrons I think the decor and ambience of the place is important and the Vulcan just did not have this. The food was delicious as was the coffee and they were maintaining COVID compliance with hygiene and cleaning tables pre and post use.I've added a star due to our most recent experience 2 years after our initial visit. This time it has changed name and ownership and I have to say I was impressed with my fresh grilled tomato on sour dough and the coffee was smoothly blended. The interior was also fresh and uplifting

Have been before for sit-down breakfast and my experience was much nicer. On this occasion however, we dropped in for some takeaway coffees (over $6 each!) and ready-to-go bakery items. Those bakery items were old, dry, and for what they were - overpriced. They almost wouldn’t be accepted as ‘end-of-life’ handouts. I left very disappointed that I had wasted my money as a result. Staff were friendly and their service was prompt - a star for each of them.

Staff are pleasant, live music was an added delight, as was the café being licensed with local wine. Outdoor seating area is welcoming of dogs and children playing.Lavatory available to patrons.
