YMCA Gungahlin Early Learning Centre

YMCA Gungahlin Early Learning Centre isn't just a childcare centre, it's a place where my two boys feel safe. They have made beautiful bonds with educators and enjoy many exciting experiences and learning opportunities. I'm excited to pick them up and listen to all the fun things they did that day and to check out the weekly updates and photos! We LOVE and appreciate YMCA Gungahlin for the amazing job they do caring for ours kids.

I found choosing child care centre for my daughter a very stressful decision but I am relieved to know I made the right choice. The centre has a very homely, family feel and the educators are warm and welcoming. I love most that the educators are continually coming up with creative new play and leaning activities. I know my daughter is safe, happy, learning and having fun, I couldn’t ask for any more.

Words can not describe how fantastic YMCA Gungahlin ELC is! My daughter started in the nursery and continued throughout until she went to preschool. We have now had a son who was at another centre closer to home, well that didn't last long before we were enrolling him at YMCA. We trave further and in the opposite direction to get him there . The staff are beyond amazing! They listen. They genuinely care. They will cater to your child's routine/needs. The communication is great. We are so lucky to be a part of the Y family.

After months is searching for the perfect centre I found YMCA Gungahlin and have been so amazed with the incredible care this centre provides my daughter.Minimal staff turnaround and consistent staff shifts makes keeping in routine and seeing familiar faces everyday easy. Gorgeous room set ups where you can see just how much care goes into their educational programming.Management is absolutely amazing and accommodating to all questions and concerns that are raised.We couldn’t be happier at this service - highly recommend!!!!

We have been with YMCA Gungahlin for over 5 years now, both my kids went to this centre and absolutely love it. The staff are amazing and takes great care of all the kids. The chef and the dining area are very unique and teaches the kids self discipline. The director Emily is excellent and nothing is ever a problem for her, very swift to attend to any issues. We have watched her grow from an educator to the centre director and it couldn’t have been in better hands. We wish YMCA Gungahlin and Emily all the very best and highly recommend it.

Wonderful educators and a warm, friendly and educational environment while also teaching the children independence. Our two boys settled in very quickly and look forward to their days at daycare. They have a wonderful chef Steve who prepares meals fresh everyday in the awesome kitchen. The kids can watch him prepare the food and they love having a chat to him. Emily is an incredible director and we hope she stays for a long time!

Our baby was in another daycare and I kept hesitating to pull her out and enrol her somewhere else. YMCA GUNGAHLIN is the best thing to ever happen to her. She is absolutely thriving, ahead of all her milestones and is excited to go everyday. The staff are amazing and genuinely care about the kids as if they were their own. Not only that but you can see they reinvest into the centre, continuously upgrading and exposing the kids to new projects.

My children love going to day care. Educators are fantastic, making each day a fun for them.Director of the centre and admin staff are amazing.Not to mention the YMCA chef who prepares healthy and yummy meals for children.

We have been attending the YMCA for the past 4 years. Everyone from the chef, to the Director and each educator, are the kindest, most caring and supportive team and we couldn’t be happier with our two daughters attending. They have long term team members, some who have left and come back, and for any newcomers, they quickly learn the standard of care and communication. Highly recommend YMCA!

Could not recommend this child care centre enough!When touring other centres around the area, I was disappointed to find none of the staff interacted with my child and myself though.When touring YMCA, we had Sharka showing us around. My 4 and a half month boy reached out to her and she held and played with him through out most of our tour. All staff passing came and spoke to us, played/cuddled my child.My boy has now been enrolled in the centre for just under a year. The Director, Emily is such an amazing, kind hearted, friendly, loving woman. All educators are absolutely fantastic! My sons leading educator Kelsie is just beautiful!The centre is a fantastic family atmosphere due to all the wonderful staff!
