Ordinary sunset view, like you see from any other mountains.Bit cold and windy. Remember to take mats, blankets and jackets.

Reached late in the evening but an awesome place to feel the chilly wind blowing hard and enjoy the city view. Easy parking and many people with food, drinks & blankets to watch the sunset but sadly it was too cloudy.

View is stunning, and it’s easy to see why hang gliders launch from this spot! The wind is pretty strong at most times so hold onto your hats when you stop here!

Excellent viewpoint for sunset. Very close to Mount Tambourine Town Centre. The hill itself is quite steep with the grass being a little bit slippery so please take care as it can be ankle sprain city out there. The sunset itself was great and could be amazing pending cloud cover and weather. The only downside is the amount of people and the availability of parking space in the area so come early.

Amazing sunset views of the valley. Bring a picnic blanket, some crackers and cheese and a bottle of wine and you’re set.Make sure you also dress up warm because even in summer the wind coming across that spot is quite strong, hence it being perfect for Hang Gliders.

Decided to come down from the gallery in hopes of seeing some hang glider action. But it was a weekday, thus it was fruitless.The view though, was quite enough. It would be a great location to have a picnic as with loved ones. Parking lots just across the street. Highly recommended

Worth a stop if you are in the area for the view. Parking can be busy (there is more parking on the grass on the other side of the road), but the views are worth stopping for.The park itself is largely just a grass area with a monument and sculpture which is quite steep off the top and probably where the other name 'Hang Glider Launch and Lookout' comes from aside from Robert Sowter Park. We arrived to quite a few people there who I expect were waiting on the sunset as this faces westward.Probably a nice place for a picnic and to admire the sunset on a nice night, but I expect it will get cool there.

A very beautiful place to go relax and have a picnic or sit with friends. Has great views with the over look and an amazing place to be during sunset!
