Alan is an excellent barber (more of a hairdresser with his style. Great equipment and ideas). Loved the service and his shop is great. The heritage Japanese barber chairs were super comfy too. A hidden gem in Cremorne.

I can not recommend this place enough, my first hair cut was today with Alan, and the complete experience from beginning to end was enough for me to know I won’t be seeing any other barbers, ever again! Alan has more than just experience when it comes to cutting and styling hair, he’s passionate and takes every cut as a unique challenge, ensuring the outcome is perfect. A modern day Michelangelo.I will be back!

What a wonderful experience at the designer barber shop. We are new to the area and my son needed a haircut for the beginning of school. Alan was so engaging and lovely, and most importantly gave him one of the best haircuts he’s had! Thank you Alan, We will definitely be back!

Being on an extended holiday from the UK and in need of a tidy up, I visited The Designer Barber Shop today. I was very warmly greeted by Alan who was both welcoming and charming. He assured me I was about to receive the ‘best haircut of my life’ using his skills in engineering and design. Well I thought this was just good Aussie chat but Alan did not disappoint. He showed a great deal of care and attention and a massive degree of skill. Thank you Alan. I’ll visit next time I’m down-under.

Since moving to Sydney a few years back I’ve struggled to find a decent hairdresser/barber, that has now changed since finding this amazing barber shop. Allan was friendly from the moment I walked in, and was an expert in hair. For the first time I actually got a cut that was tailored for me and wasn’t just another quick hack job. He took his time to explain different styles and cut my hair in a way no other barber has done before. I recommend this place as the only place to go if you’re looking for a cut that’s guaranteed to make you look and feel good.
