I received excellent service when I asked for assistance in selecting a telescope for my grandson. The sales person took the time to explain carefully and thoroughly what was suitable for someone my grandson's age. Therefore, I felt very confident purchasing the recommended telescope. However, through a miscommunication, a telescope had already been acquired by the other grandparents. I rang Optics Central and explained the situation and they readily cancelled the order and refunded my money. I cannot speak too highly of their customer service, they were very understanding of the situation and obliging. Thank you!

Bought a ten inch dobsonian telescope with Goto mount.the service was great and staff was helpful. They ended up giving me the wrong base but when I emailed their support team about it they were very supportive in getting the right one shipped. They took responsibility and also sent an eye piece/filter kit along with the right base to make up for the error. I just had one viewing session and results have been great..Will be back.PS-would request them to be cautious with the bar codes

Recently purchased the GPO 8 x 42 Passion ED. A beautiful machine, very comfortable to hold and German precision. Very happy with the quality, clear sharp and bright, for my needs using at the beach to record regattas and so much more. A few hours ago I came in to buy a planetary camera to make my telescope viewing and photographing experience better and the man assisting me was really informative and knowledgeable regarding astrophotography and the capabilities of various cameras.This is the second time I've been here and with both experiences the people assisting me have been very knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what I wish to buy and how I can get the most out of my purchases. Any sort of telescope or viewing needs these people absolutely know their stuff! Definitely recommend Optics Central for all your scope needs!

Recently purchased my first set of binoculars. The service at Optics Central was second to none. My initial online enquiry was promptly addressed. When I visited their showroom, Melissa’s customer service was simply wonderful. Incredibly patient and helpful, showing me no less than 8 models ranging from affordable to high end Zeiss binoculars. I walked away with a set which were not initially on my radar, and would not have considered, but am super happy with my purchase as it surpassed my expectations and easily meets my needs.

Spoke to Gerald by phone looking for a dedicated Astro camera. He was able to give me an excellent comparable to other retailers. Placed my order one day and the camera was delivered next day. Will give them serious consideration for any future Astro purchases.

I was a customer of their online store on their website. I wanted to attach my Pentax K3-II DSLR camera to my telescope and after much research, I discovered I needed a T-ring adaptor mount for my camera. I was able to browse through their website with ease and find the various products available. I purchased a Pentax T-ring adaptor and received an email from the company soon after advising me the item was out of stock and offered me an alternative product or a refund. I opted for the alternative and the company was very helpful in ensuring I was able to receive the alternative product. I received the product in the mail and I am extremely satisfied with the product. The item was packaged well with cardboard and bubble wrap and arrived to me safely. The T-ring mount fits perfectly onto my camera and telescope. I am impressed with the high quality of the item for a great price. The staff are friendly, communicative and happy to help with any issues. I'm so happy with this company and my item - thank you very much! In the future, if I need any further equipment - I will ensure to keep this company in mind.
