Thought I would try my luck with a spontaneous dinner Friday night. It was drizzling and the only table they had left was outdoors in the rain. I said I would take it for now whilst I wait for my friend to arrive. (Note they do not take bookings). As the rain started to get heavier, two morepeople arrived requesting a table. The waitress pointed at my table and said that’s the only one left, or there is this one here and pointed at a table for 2 indoors. Naturally, they took the indoor table. Despite the fact I was clearly wanting a table (obviously not in the pouring rain) and had arrived first. As the rain started bucketing down, 2 more people arrived and the waitress graciously allowed them to go upstairs. My friend arrived then and given the atrocious service, we went across the road to the pub which did a great barramundi. I will never go back to Bar Zini with its snobby poor service.

Best food and coffee. The toasted tuna melt is next level - the best tuna sandwich I've ever had! Damian and the team are also so welcoming always. A great local find!

Food here is phenomenal. Damien is a proper cook, pure talent. Pyrmont is a ruthless area to trade with businesses going under frequently. Barzini however has stuck around because the service and the food is second to none. Expect polite, passionate staff serving classic hearty Italian food.

Zini is a gem of a restaurant! My friends and I have been coming here for years, and we have never been disappointed. The food is consistently outstanding, and the service is impeccable. The ambiance is perfect for a casual night out with friends or a romantic dinner with a loved one.Every time I dine at Bar Zini, I feel like I am transported to Italy. The attention to detail in the dishes is unparalleled, and the flavors are bold and authentic. The wine selection is also excellent, and the staff is always happy to recommend a pairing that perfectly complements the meal.I cannot recommend Bar Zini enough. If you're looking for delicious, authentic Italian cuisine in a warm and inviting atmosphere, this is the place to go.

Good coffee, but strong, great food and nice, always polite staff. Not a lot of indoor seating but plenty of tables outdoors on the footpath, with both large umbrellas and heaters to deal with a range of weather options.

Coffees are excellent and sandwiches are great! Super fresh and yummy. Excellent service. Loved the poached chicken sandwich

Unexpected stopover for a bite for lunch. Friendly service and beautiful ham and cheese toasted Sambo. We will be back for more!
