Great campground, has toilets, camp kitchen, laundry facilities ($4 per load) and hot shower $2 for 4 mins all lovely and clean, only thing I personally think is they have sites to close together

Unsuitable for hikers tents as the only option is hard packed gravel and our tent pegs couldn't penetrate this. A patch of watered grass around the very nice camp kitchen was perfect but they would not allow tents here. There was no alternative except for beside the toilet block but we were forced off here because it was leased by the football club...We had to use large rocks and pray the wind would stay away! The shower is dangerous - scalding water, in a Disabled access cubicle. The light also switches off after approx 2-4 mins so you can be left in the dark if showering at night - also dreadful when you consider it is set up for wheelchair bound users. Also, either the sewer pump or the nearby pump station failed, so the toilets were out of action. All in all a terrible experience, and not aided by an unhelpful Lions Club rep who was not interested in offering a suitable alternative site which had been pre-booked. Being cyclists, we could not ride 20kms to next camp ground, late in the day.CYCLISTS BEWARE!

Not a bad site park but it is minimalistic. The showers constantly change temp and they make you pay

For $10 pn this place is great. Toilets, pay showers, surfaced laid out sites with water connections. Outdoor turf surface beside your van.Camp kitchen is fully equipped with electrical points if you need to charge something.Don’t skip out, pay the fee online, worth every cent,Max nights 7 or 14 .... can’t remember.

Great little spot for an overnighter or a few days. The Lions club have done an amazing job trying to think of everything for your needs. For $10 a night for up to 4 people per site you can’t complain:Pro’s:Toilets, Laundry ($4 a load for washer or dryer) washing line, bins, dump point and a shower ($2 for 4 minutes)Camp kitchen, sink, toaster, kettle, microwave, 2 gas BBQ’s. Power point with 2 USB ports, community book swap. Light, which is on all night so provides light to the area as needed. Each site has a ground covering / flooring. Caravan and RV spots have a tap and hose to link to mains water.Flat sites, plenty of room to turn your van / trailer.Con’s:Packed in tightly together, not much space. Right next to the roads, and they are surprisingly busy for a country town.Road trains passing through all hours, and they will beep their horns at night as well (didn’t bother us but for some could be a deal breaker)Saturdays will always be busy with footie, netball/ soccer etc, as this shares the same area as the oval.Tent sites 1, 2 and 3 are quite tiny, for your car and a tent bit of a squeeze but manageable: there is a ground cover for you to put your tent on so that you aren’t laying directly on the gravel / stones. Each corner of the tent site and in the middle of the ground covering they have placed anchor points for your pegs, this avoids you breaking tent pegs that would be hard to hammer in. Such a thoughful and fabulous addition.I worry about the tent sites being so close to the roads (a junction) if someone was to oversteer and run off the road at speed there is literally a post and rail fence that’s between you in your tent and the airborn car. Just something that I noticed but that’s my job to be aware of my surroundings and assess for hazards so I tend to look for the danger. All in all for $10 a night you can’t go wrong, fabulous little place for travelers to rest their weary heads and recharge.

Highly recommended1. Kitchen is so clean. Have microwave, toaster, kettle, no stove, 2 BBQ facility, 2 table.2. Toilet also so clean and have paper towel.3. The shower is $2 for 4 min, but Its very hard to adjust the temperature which waste my time for 1 min, I have to spend another $2. And remember always have shower with your partner so $4 will be enough for 2pp.

Fantastic little park and great value too. Clean loos and showers. No shade but at only $10 a night, it is great. Nice little town too.

Great place to stay with your RV and furbabies. Showers toilets and RV hookup water for each site and matting on each site. Better than most caravan parks in SA.Only downside they need to empty the bins more often as they are all over full.

We spent from Christmas Eve to Boxing Day here. Great camp kitchen and facilities. Hard level ground and very little road noise through the night.
