Clarion Hotel Townsville

Love it. Great room with more than enough room to move. Unbelievably friendly staff that cannot help you enough. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. And I am so happy I called them personally rather than go through a faceless online booking as they knew exactly who I was the moment I walked through the doors and made me feel so welcomed. I highly recommend the Clarion.

An almost 5 star stay for me.Pros: Great location. Air con is wonderful. Beds are ridiculously comfortable. Fridges come stocked with water bottles. Pod coffee machine. Bath tub options available. Toiletries were great. Very friendly staff :) Decent cost. Decent wifi.Cons: Shower pressure was terrible and it took a LONG time for the water to get hotter than lukewarm. There were some stains on the carpet - that doesn’t bother me so much, however. The carpark is a little tricky to get in and out of - very narrow, and exiting involves going down an incline directly onto a busy footpath. I mutually startled some folks trying to cross the path or smoking at the base.Other: They do offer room service and an adjoining restaurant, but I did not use these servicesOther than the above, was a really nice stay. I will be coming back for sure!

Staff very friendly, rooms where clean beds comfy as really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great too. Will be staying here again in the future

The staff here are absolutely wonderful. Particularly Kyrell at the hotel desk - he is always polite, does whatever possible to ensure that you enjoy your stay and went out of his way to help return my lost property to me. He is an asset to the team!

I visit the location on a regular basis but not for the hotel amenities. I see a psychologist on the 3rd floor.The foyer is always well kept, and the reception staff always greet me when I come in.The 3rd floor offices are well laid out with comfortable decor in a relaxed and safe atmosphere. Everything is always spotlessly clean (including the bathrooms).If I ever get the chance to stay in the hotel, I'll be sure to update.

Was a cockroach in room on bedhead.There was a lot of dust on bedhead.Stains on bed sheeting.Telephones didn't work to call front desk.No bowls, plates, cutlry in rooms.Glass sets were mismatching in room.

Really good value for money.Similar price to the Sugar Shaker but I reckon these rooms are better.Nice lady on front desk and I got a very early check in.
