The manager Darren needs guidance and education on being a manager and treating his customers well instead of being rude and unhelpful. I’ve been shopping here for years and find everyone pleasant to deal with. He has a horrible attitude and I left feeling frustrated when my request was so simple. He made it hard just because he was in a mood. Again apparently. Not go through his staff under the bus but apparently it’s normal behaviour from him.

Went in for log splitter, good choice n variable prices, also to pick up a stool for my daughter, couldn't find one, was about to leave and spotted a male staff member, asked him, he looked on scanner, had 3 in stock, but he decided helping another staff member with customer, was more important told us where to look n he would be around in a min.nevet saw him again, finally found what we were looking for behind other stuff laying flat on floor.......

Garden centre ladies do seem to be older and are not very friendly or helpful. Never enough check outs open not sure if the staff walking around not doing much could jump in and open another one when they can clearly see a line forming.

Handy hint: google the item and select 'find in store' you will get an isle and bay number. The bay numbers are hidden in tiny barcodes stuck to the vertical shelving supports. Knowing this means you can find everything quickly!

Went to Bunnings got treated like a fool for asking questions relating to the item they tried to sell me as a replacement for a broken part. Got home, product does not fit, does not perform same job. Turns out staff have very little knowledge of hardware but worst of all tried to cover up their incompetence by making me feel silly. Also, inexperienced staff at paint counter, ordered a sample pot for small job, needed another - colour at least 3 shades darker once dry. Good times
