It's a load of rubbish!........out of my shed!Great service, drive in or walk in, got rid of broken electronic devices, paint tins, plastics, papers and bottles. Well done City of Yarra....a good service for residents

As per other comments, v disappointed with the lack of transparency re needing to be a Yarra resident. Been dropping off for ages and it is a clear change of practice.Whatever the rules are fine, but should be clear. But honestly, if recycling is about creating something from a waste product, not sure I see the benefit in turning people with such products.

They don't say so anywhere on their site or anywhere visible at the centre (small signs on back wall of shed) but they only take waste if you live in the Yarra City Municipality. Ok but that should really be visible - couldn't even leave a battery and they didn't know anything about other recycling centres.

Recycle many different items. Cardboard, plastic, polystyrene, tvs, electrical and more.Also big plus to the workers for rightly knocking back folks who don't live in the city of yarra - we pay their wages! Well done.

Helpful staff members and easy to find/well signed areas to drop respective material off - have used to drop cardboard, electronic waste, polystyrene, hard and soft plastic, clothing.
