Jane Jones Landscapes

Although I can surmise that Jane is talented, as evident from the online pictures and the business' instagram profile, this is as far as I can comment on her work. Following a consultation at my house (which cost $220), communication ceased shortly thereafter. Despite trying to call and email multiple times over the course of a year, and even being promised a phone call back, I am yet to hear anything, and paid a hefty sum for...what? I can only postulate that the work we were offering was not lucrative enough for her, guess I'll never know.

I was extremely excited to use Jane’s services as I’d seen her beautiful work and was confident she would make some lovely suggestions.Unfortunately this was not the case.Jane seemed fairly disinterested when she came out to look at my landscape requirements and dismissed any key elements which were part of my brief. Although talented, she simply applied her signature formula of big planter in the Center and drew a sketch listing cottage style plants which really didn’t suit my modern property. When I raised concerns, she appeared to be dismissive. Overall, I felt she didn’t suggest anything creative with my tricky space which was disappointing given her fee was over $300 for the initial consult. When I told her this, she did make a couple of other suggestions, but I felt they were simply afterthoughts, rather that thoughtful design.As such I didn’t go ahead with her company. It is a shame, as I had a very healthy budget set aside for this project.
