Wei is an incredible wholistic mobile vet with profound skills in traditional Chinese medicine. She developed instant rapport with our whippets and gathered relevant health information in such an all-encompassing, genuine and supportive way with great intuition and instinct.She understood our unwell whippet’s communication style instantly and interacted with him as if they’d known each other for years.The amount of health information we gathered together in only the first visit, was astounding. We are so excited for our Max to start properly recovering. Looking forward to herbs, diet, acupressure/acupuncture and water based exercises to get him back to his normal self, and off pain medication.

Dr.WeiI cannot thank Dr Wei enough for her care, knowledge and compassion to my horse. Dr.Wei was presented with a 9 week old deep cut and infected leg wound that was being treated but not healing. After 9 weeks of being on 3 legs (that had effected his conformation,skeletal and muscleswound drainage and bandages) Dr.Wei treated the horse with Chinese herbs and laser treatment. 2 weeks later I had a very comfortable horse.Healed wound no infection and trotting around. Dr. Wei also treated the horse for possible gut problems that might develop with the drugs he had had. Nothing was missedI presented Dr Wei with a wound that I described as barb wire when it should have been a piece of cotton.Skeletal, muscle treatments given and physio exercises.Many people that followed this much loved horses journey were amazed and impressed. I cannot thank Dr Wei enough for taking on this horse.

Dr Wei is a truly exceptional veterinarian, offering compassionate, top-of-the-line holistic care at home in Southern Tasmania. I found Dr Wei when my dog was diagnosed with an untreatable type of cancer in her heart and spleen. It's been three months since her diagnosis, and she is doing exceptionally well with a very high quality of life under Wei's care. I can't recommend Dr Wei high enough.

Dr Wei Yin Yap has saved my dogs life and continues to do so.She is absolutely brilliant and I have never met a vet in my life with more knowledge.Ushki was given 3 months to live due to an aggressive form of breast cancer by reknown Melbourne Veterinarian services 'Lort Smith'.Thanks to Dr Wei Yin Yap, my dog is still living 2 and a half years after we were told she would die.Ushki dog is now over 15 years old which is really old for a Husky... with Dr Wei's advice, Ushki looks amazing and lives a pain free happy life. One would only assume that doggo has infact beaten the cancer altogether.Thankyou Dr Wei.You have given us hope and joy beyond belief.I couldn't possibly recommend you more. For those that don't live in Tasmania, it is worth flying there just to see this vet.10 Stars!!!!

Worst experience ever in my poor 14 year old border collie being pocked with needles in her nose, organs manipulated in her last 30 minutes of life, vet trying to shave several of her paws to cannulated to inject with end of life vaccine in the meantime with all the stress our girl took her last traumatic breath, meanwhile vet still wants to inject her after she's passed to add to bill. We had 2 days of our girl past our from medication given to her, waking up for short period, we could of had this time with her if not past out from what she was given. This has caused huge stress to us both.

Dr Wei does a terrific job of blending what would be considered conventional" vetenary medicine with the holistic approaches of traditional medicine. I was unfamiliat of this to begin with

Dr Wei Yap from Fifth Element Holistic Veterinary Services has completely changed our dog Kahya’s life . Honestly , I have never met a vet who is so knowledgeable, passionate and taken such care and intrest in kahya . Kahya has gone from barley being able to keep her eyes open with chronic issues and not able to do anything in the day to running around like she’s a puppy again and so happy to boot .If you ever need a vet or your pet has been saddled with chronic health problems she does phone consults and she’s your gal !
