Great staff. Looked after our 3 legged dog so well. They were so busy on a public holiday too, but we didn't wait very long. Good to know we have a reliable vet so close.

We started going here since our first puppy checkup and have been stoked with every visit EXCEPT the very first. I won't name them but one of the male vets here was super full on and used every scare tactic in the book on us. Walked away SUPER rattled and seriously reconsidering ever going back. But we gave it a second shot and have not had a hitch since (also haven't had that same vet again). The good thing is that you can choose your vet when booking online but I normally check with the receptionist who is available on which days. I kept our puppy's vaccinations and checkups to the same day and time and had incredible experiences since.Toughest thing about this practice is the parking, not that that can be really helped but maybe a sign or heads up from your receptionist would be great, after a couple of appointment I found ample parking around the corner.Looking forward to our next visit!

We had to say goodbye to our beautiful dog yesterday, which was super hard, but this vet was outstanding, she patiently talked us through the process, made sure we knew, not only what would happen but assured us we were making the right decision, she treat our dog with kindness, respect and compassion Made a very hard time more bearable, we will always be grateful.

We visited couple of vets around northern beaches and these guys are really good. Always reminding you necessary things during the visit. Always are nice. Our dog is never scare to have there another visit even after vaccinations. So he loves that place as well as I do. Thanks.

Excellent service, whether it's an emergency or scheduled health check the vets demonstrate genuine compassionate for pet and owner. Our well travelled dogs & cat have been treated with the extra attention to their mental health that has been a result of prolonged quarantine. Cannot recommend Dee Why Vet Hospital enough.

Did not have a positive experience with this vet. As a new time dog mum, i went to this vet with an open mind, however from the start i was lectured about how my dog had apparently had declined in behavior since the last time the vet saw him, that my dog was an extreme concern, to not be surprised if i spent thousands on basic training and not see any outcomes and that I would have to see a behavioral specialist. All this for a puppy I had owned for a week (which the vet knew). This was because my puppy nipped at the vet when he looked at his gums. I am not saying the nipping was acceptable behavior however the vet had done nothing to make him comfortable and didn't explain to me what he was doing so i could distract my dog or try mitigate my puppy's anxiety. My appointment went for 15 minutes and the vet lectured me continuously, basically reiterating that my dog was fine a month ago and now his only solution was to see a behavioral specialist, he mentioned the behavioural specialist so many times, I wouldn't be surprised if he has an invested interested in the business he recommended. He even went to say that my dog would get a tick if i didn't find out immediately when he last had a tablet. I am not doubting the vet thought he was telling me what he thought I needed to hear, however his bedside manor needs severe improvement, when the owner has tears in their eyes, its probably a good time to stop. Since then I have seen an amazing vet and a dog trainer who has explained my dogs behavior and said he is not aggressive and only needs to learn acceptable behaviours - standard for a puppy.Furthermore As we are adopting the dog, we just received his paperwork and the vet clinic has left off his microchip number on his paperwork, extremely poor form. I don't recommend this vet
