Sturt National Park
Australian outback at its best.We started out from Melbourne for Cameron Corner, but ended up in Sturt National Park instead.Your visit and drive to the park can be a lifetime experience for some. The park's massive in area and offers a variety of things to look around, like rolling red sand dunes, flat topped mesas and granite tors around the town Tibooburra, which are 450 million years old.Things to remember:~Carry fuel with you in advance, as you'll find a few villages on the way, but no fuel. Nearest would be in Packsaddle and Broken Hill NSW.~We couldn't but Sturt is worth camping, after touring around. So, take out a couple days for the camp in outback.~Any car would do, as even we drove around in a Camry but a SUV would obviously be more preferable and suitable.Enjoy the journey to outback!

Sturt National Park
Wonderful place to drive through as there is really nothing out there apart from emu's and kangaroos and short stubby trees and bushesBut also very beautiful as the sunrise and sunset is totally amazing out there as is something to behold (bucket list worthy)

Well worth the 3500km round trip on motorbikes. A bucket lister checked off. Extraordinary landscape. Throw in the fabulous and welcoming locals we met along the way and traveling with the company of friends....why would you go anywhere else.
