We stayed overnight at Mac’s and also had dinner there. It’s been lovingly refurbished and the owner is lovely and easygoing. She thoughtfully allocated us a larger room as she knew we were travelling with a young child. Our room had a lovely high ceiling and a lot of character. The shared bathroom was very modern and clean. We had dinner on a Saturday night and the place was packed full of locals. The roast pork was nice. In the morning, the back cafe was serving decent coffees and there was some basic breakfast items available for guests to use. Great value!

Wonderful country pub run by some fabulous people. Food is lovely and who doesn't love a fireplace. Rooms are beautifully fully renovated.

An unexpected jewel in Mortlake. I am glad I couldn't find an accommodation in Warrnambool. Excellent, friendly staff

Great little Bistro with large servings and reasonable prices. The food was fresh, tasty, and well presented. The service was fast and sociable. A must-try when staying or passing through Mortlake.
