There were some positives and negatives that came with Emily's work and I will try to provide an accurate account for an honest review.On the positive side, Emily is very friendly and personable during the shoot and took her time with my family. She gave us some tips on posing and chose some nice local locations. Emily was recommended by a family friend and her online galleries are very nice.Overall I was happy with the photos themselves. While there were things I would like to change about them, overall it was a nice set of family pictures. We shot on a cloudy day which Emily assured us was quite good lighting for photography. I think the amount charged was on the expensive side but I would have been happy to pay it if I was happier with the photos. The biggest negative has to be in the quality of the prints and Emily's response. I received them today and let Emily know they were not great quality, overly dark and a bit foggy looking. Emily wrote back and in summary said that the day we shot was too dark and that the prints would always be darker than the digital image. She offered to reprint but told me they would still be dark and maybe I should choose different photos.Ultimately I think a professional photographer needs to be able to edit images in a way that they can get a good quality print, after all this is why you get professional prints rather than ordering through somewhere like officeworks. Furthermore, when a client isn't happy with the product, there needs to be more of an effort to rectify the situation. It is especially disappointing as these prints were organised for mothers day and now I have no gift as I don't feel these are good enough to give. I feel a bit silly having paid so much money for something I can't use.

Emily is such an amazing photographer! Her images are so authentic and she is just amazing to work with. My maternity shoot was just amazing, and I look forward to her photographing our family as it grows :)

After seeing the work Emily posted on her social media pages it was a complete no brainer to engage her to do some corporate photos for myself.I am so grateful I made that decision because what I received was so much better than I could have hoped.Emily provided me with so much direction and creative input it really helped me in achieving look I was hoping for and now I have an extensive portfolio of images to use in all aspect of my marketingI can not thank you enough Emily and I can't wait for you to take some new family photos for me soon.

Emily did an amazing job with our team for corporate shots. She was very friendly and easy going. She made great suggestions for a few different shots so we would have a few to choose from. She asked if we had any requirements or requests, and we were happy to follow her lead. We are all really happy with the final pics. We received the photos extremely quickly as well. Great photographer. Perfect for families weddings or any occasion.

I recently engaged Emily for newborn family photos. Her photography skills were a given , I had already scanned all the previous photo shoots she had done and was happy with her work however her magic lies in her execution and engagement with your family on the day to not only make your feel comfortable but get the best photos possible. I have a 2 year old toddler and a 1 week old newborn and Emily was able to engage with my toddler for the best part of 2 hours to get the most of the day, and also get her to comply with all the suggested photos and moving around etc. We felt so comfortable, it didn't feel staged or rushed. Her style and persona was so authentic and genuinely caring that we were so impressed by , before we had seen any photos yet! Now we've seen the photos and it's the icing on the cake , they are perfect. Thankyou so much Emily we will definitely be booking you again and reccomending you.

Emily photographed my family and did an absolutely flawless job. She somehow captured so many stunning photos of my two cheeky boys even when they had ants in their pants! A beautiful mix of candid and posed photos that all looked very natural. We all felt very relaxed with Emily and I would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to capture the beautiful personalities in their family.
