Dapoer Shalom Indonesian Restaurant
I have been to this little restaurant countless times and my stomach was satisfied every single time. Their fried chicken was crunchy on the skin yet juicy on the inside. And that sambal from the little jar was beautifully intense and fiery. Other dishes like chicken soup, lamb skewers were all super tasty, but my favourite here was the avocado shake. It was smooth and had a nice chocolate flavour.

A tiny little spot but well known for takeaways, and amongst the locals. Tried the “presto” chicken, which I learned is pressure cooked chicken; then deep fried in a Panko-like crumb. Sauce on the side. It’s a yay from me!

Authentic Indonesian style food. Good and friendly service. Basic but attractive furnishings giving the Indonesian food stall feel to the premises. Parking was easy.

The food here is great, there are a few Vegetarian options and there are plenty of options to try. A great place for small groups though they were able to accomodate our group of 8 for lunch.

I ordered 2 entrees (traditional spring roll and traditional fish balls), 1 main meal (Bali fried chicken), and 1 drink/dessert (es campur). Apart from the drink, I had them for takeaway. Everything was so good.

Shalom is a quite decent Indonesian restaurant. The prices are good, the staffs are friendly and the food are mostly great. I ordered a variety of items to share - fried rice, stir fry noodles, satay, pempek, fried tofu & tempe and fried chicken with green chilli. The pempek was particularly good, close to what I grew up with in Indonesia. The satay however had a little bit too much sweet soy sauce which overpowered the peanut sauce flavour. The rest I had no complaints about the taste.I think I would be happy to come back to try more things, as they have a few other nostalgic food items that I don't often see in other Indonesian restaurants around.

Best Shalom in town as the owner takes pride on her food we love it the Ox tail soup black is the best with the fried chicken is worth the wait to come to this placeParking at the council
