I’m absolutely appalled with the attitude from the Salvos in relation to the furniture pickup service. I had a perfectly good lounge suite that someone would appreciate. The drivers refused to take it and started to make up all sorts of rubbish about the state of the furniture. I was close to telling them where to go. There is no way I’ll ever donate items to your stores again. Your organisation is a disgrace.Thankfully a very appreciative person has since picked up the furniture, otherwise it would've ended up in landfill.

I had a complaint about someone not getting back to me after making 6 calls over a few week period, query about myself and my kid wanting to donate some brand new cloths to all the residents at a North Melbourne refuge centre and the headquarters a week later didn't return my call so I had to call back again. Good one.The second time around I was put thru to a different building, not sure why as they have well over 300 paid people working there.... bye.
