Fabulous experience with the family. We all did the maze, and the kids played mini golf afterwards. We had drinks and snacks from the cafe, which were lovely, and the service was friendly and prompt. There were lots of families enjoying the facilities on a beautiful Autumn day, and the cafe and maze are surrounded by gorgeous garden beds and well established large trees, which provided generous shade. I would highly recommend this experience, as a great option during the school holidays.

The maze is a little overgrown which creates some dark (to the point that you can't see what's in front of you!) corners - this added to the excitement fity my boys, but was a bit disappointing for me. It's an impressive height, but unfortunately the leaves don't grow right at the base of the hedges, so there are holes in the maze where people have gone off the path, which takes away from the charm of being lost in the maze as you can't quite work out if the path should be there or not. The dampness of the maze has caused the two towers to be a bit soft in places and some fungi to grow out of them and we had no hope of finding the two rose bushes in amongst the overgrown sides and the darkness. We did still enjoy going in the maze, it was just a bit disappointing to be paying good money for something that has been let go a bit.

A clear example of something beautiful left to ruins. I came in 2008 and 2010 and was green, clear maintained paths and beautifully manicured domes and castle wall designs in the hedges. Stood about 6.5 to 7 feet tall and with lots of sun coming through. At the towers you could see over the whole maze, as you should be able to, that's the idea and the beautifully manicured corners and domes were visible .Now, it has not been maintained, is about 30 feet or more and covering any sun as paths over grow into eachother at the top and are narrow and dead looking at the bottom. There are no defined paths, looks dead and you see nothing from the towers at all, it's dark because the hedge is overgrown and neglected, not to mention unsafe wood planks. A hedge is to be maintained, it's to be shaped. An aerial shot of this would not look like a maze, the old shot is from many, many years ago. One of the wooden cheat doors was also broken and on the path with nails exposed and facing up too, and this is all in the dark as you needed to use the torch on your phone, and this was a sunny day. It's up for sale, so maybe they have lost all effort to do more, but a big job to get it back to a maintained nice maze. I have beautiful photos from years ago and just wanted to leave now. Not worth going back, especially when still charging $12 each. If anyone thinks it's current state is good, I'm thinking they haven't seen it before or any hedge maze to know how it should look.

Really poorly maintained. The trees have grown far too tall so the whole place smells of rotting wood, and there are giant cobwebs everywhere making it creepy instead of fun. The viewing platforms are full of hazardous sections waiting to collapse, and can't actually see anything since the trees are twice the size of them. The paths are also not clearly cut so sometimes you can't tell if there's a path or short cut or the just no branches that low down. Felt really disappointed in this place as it looks like it used to be nice.

Our family had a really fun day out at the Maze. As with some of the other reviews, yes some of the trees are a little sparse at the base, and if you were a cheater anyway - you could sneak through the holes and peer through the bases. But where's the fun in that?! We spent about 50 minutes walking through trying to solve the puzzle (towers and roses). We also found the cafe food to be of a high standard and the staff friendly and accomodating.

Peaceful gardens and cafe. The Maze could just be a bit on the expensive side at $30 for a family of 4.

We had a great time yesterday and will definitely be back again. While not comparable with maze attractions in Europe that have millions of visitors a year the Wandiligong Maze & Cafe is still an impressive Aussie take on a hedge maze. The place was popular with cyclists having a break and families with young children.

This is a unique treasure in most beautiful surroundings tucked away on acreage in a hamlet of God's country in Victoria's Alpine region.Nestled in amongst beautiful gardens is a maze, mini golf course,a large rotunda and an eatery with a variety of hot and cold drinks.I love their scones, fresh, warm with jam and cream. They have a variety of cakes with a huge cream sponge that looks scrumptious and oh so temping. You are offered a light lunch and can sit outside in the sunshine when appropriate plus there are plenty of indoor tables and chairs.A great place for any age to enjoy the activities, wander in the gorgeous gardens and have a drink with something yummy to eat.Staff are very friendly and also have so much knowledge of Bright and it's surroundings.I found that extremely helpful for tourists.

Great maze and wonderful cafe, but need little bit more maintenance of trees. Too many branches on eye level.

Our competitive kids completed the maze in less than 5 mins. Ended up sending them off to the mini golf to occupy them for half an hour. If you're going for some time to enjoy a quiet coffee choose golf.
