HP Nails and Beauty Pennant Hills

The following was from my own personal experience - Horrible service and a dirty environment (operating utensils not in packaging, instead pulled from their aprons, so beware). From my experience, they care more about money than they do about customer service. Firstly, I booked an appointment to have my nails done and to my surprise, I found out that they had one staff serving three people at the same time. Furthermore, I wanted to change the colour after only having one nail done and they showed a lot of attitude and were rude about it. They also did a horribly bad job and were rushing me. I decided to leave half way and although I had hoped for some goodwill from there side, they still charged me the full amount knowing they did an extremely poor job and provided a bad experience for me.

I’d read good reviews on this place and I wasn’t disappointed! My boyfriend and I came for a pedicure, and I was very impressed with the hot stone & hot towel massage, definitely the best I’ve had! My nails look great and even though the colour didn’t turn out like I thought I’m still happy with them. Parking was also easy.

I have been coming here a long time, and they usually do a good job and are friendly, but I won’t be returning.After getting a pedicure I was asked if I could pay cash (which I didn’t have) and then told it would be a THREE DOLLAR card fee (10%!). I can understand a 1-2% fee to pass on bank fees to customers, but 10% is simply boxing the customer in to pay cash so the business can, I assume, evade tax on their sales.This kind of practice is not uncommon in nail salons, but I have never been quoted this much. It’s not the amount of money - it’s the principle - and doing this to customers is outrageous.

Had a lovely experience here. Peter was friendly and did my nails exactly how I envisioned. Took nearly 2 hours however so leave plenty of time if this is a constraint.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Such affordable prices, friendly service and they are always willing to fit you in! I recently broke a nail after having gotten them done and usually at other nail places they would charge you to fix it. As they did a tip and shellac to repair the nail! HP Nails did it for free! Thank-you so much!! Keeping me a continuous customer!

UPDATE:Thank you to the staff for promptly contacting the Bride to redo her nails and offer her some of the money back. It is great when a business shows that they care for their customers. ☺️ The review has now been changed to four stars.--------------My best friend (the bride) and I just got our nails done from here. We had our pedicure and manicure done. Pedicure was okay. But the manicure made the bride bleed on 5 of her fingers. She told the lady that it is hurting but the lady kept going and said it would be fine. She was charged $100 for this - they gave us a discount of $5 upon mentioning this. This was only because I also got my nails and pedicure done aswell ($80). The discount was predetermined as the man told us that we will get a discount if we both get our nails and pedicure done.

I have tried many salons but these guys are the best in the area. They listened to the style I was after. I showed a picture of the French style I like and I couldn’t be happier. The staff are very friendly.

Staff is corteous, I’ve been doing my nails for years at this place and cannot complain. Prices are reasonable, team members are always willing to give a great service!

Service wasn’t friendly. I was cut & bleed during my manicure and technician didn’t even say sorry….Also was quoted different price and this quote wasn’t honoured when I paid, even when I repeatedly asked to please do the right thing.It seemed like they would rather loose a client than charging $10 less than quoted…Very disappointing experience!!!I will not return!
