My favourite place for a Relaxing waxing. I drive from the Gold Coast just for a wax here - I've never found anyone who can do it better! The girls are also very helpful and knowledgeable with the organic beauty products. I purchase my eco tan and inika supplies here. I'm looking forward to making my way through their full menu.

Fabulous locally owned beauty salon with the old fashioned personal touch and service. Beautifully waxed, tinted and shaped eyebrows for my mature age, absolutely love them. Even my 13 yr old said they look 'great' Highly recommended.

Do not get a spray tan here!I got married a few of weeks ago in the Mullumbimby area. Not being a local, I didn’t know of a good spray tan place so someone recommended Clay in Mullumbimby. Oh how I wish I hadn’t followed this recommendation. Myself and my four bridesmaids all got a spray tan there and it was easily the worst spray tan I have ever had. We asked for a very light tan and were assured it would be. It was the complete opposite: a dark orange! When the tan was applied, several of us were left with big drip marks around the ankles and other areas. We were told not to wipe these off and that they would go when we showered. They did not and two of the bridesmaids were left with large, very dark, very visible drip marks around their ankles. It looked dreadful! Not to mention the patchiness on our knees and elbows. One of the bridesmaids returned to Clay the next day (for a different appointment) and pointed this out. When it was raised to the manager she shunned all responsibility and said it must just be due to her skin type. This is a disgraceful way to run a business!I would say avoid at all costs getting a spray tan at Clay. I felt like an orange blob at my wedding and feel my photos are ruined. And I’m still dealing with a horrible patchiness as the tan finally comes off.

Two stars for friendly service and a good spray tan. But would not recommend getting the lashes. They looked great to start with but within 5 days they had all fallen out. Which is insane for $130. I thought at first maybe it was something I had done, but I’ve had lashes regularly and this has not happened before. They were kind and said they would refill for $90. Which is a lot. But I was so keen to have the done for an event I was happy to try again. I did absolutely everything to try and maintain these lashes. Within 8 days they were all gone again. Just warning for people who can’t really afford $210 for a 2 week outcome.

Just had the body wrap as a gift after a camping trip and cannot recommend this place enough. Jo has magic hands and the most lovely demeanor. Just bummed I didn’t know about this place sooner as a local- treat yourself !!!!!

Jo was exceptionally good. I walked in feeling sore in my back, neck and shoulder and in half an hour she made her magic. The place/towels are very clean

Rochelle is fantastic! So friendly and professional. I look forward to my visits. She always tries to fit me in to suit my busy work schedule.
