1 star is s’till over rated for this store. Not the store you would like to visit if you ask for a specific device.I had experience with this store about 3 months ago where I specifically asked for a 5G capable device on a new contract , and as a new customer. The sales person was just after the commission and making a sale, and ignored my request. I ended up with a 4G device. Before leaving the store on the day, I specifically asked again if they were sure they sold me a 5G capable device. Sales person verified it was.1 week later, I noticed the device only shows 4G signal. When working through the settings, it was clear they gave me a 4G device. This was also confirmed with Optus online.Needless to say, this specific sales person could not recall me specifically asking for a 5G device. About 2 months later, I got a case manager sorting this mess out (via Optus online chat).

I was surprised to get such excellent service in store as typically these days telcos tend to want you just to go through phone or online assistance. The were able to fix something for me within 15 minutes that I had been trying to get sorted out via email/live chat/phone for 3 months. While I don't know that they have the best prices (currently I don't think any of the majors offer tremendous value), they aren't unreasonable, and more importantly I was very happy with the service I received and would be happy to recommend shopping at the Greensborough location on that basis

Store still closed for click and collect only. Staff mentioned it was the mangers decision. No seats or stools provided outside the store for customers who are waiting 20mins plus. Would be a nice customer service touch, given I saw at least 4 elderly people waiting.My experience with the young man helping me was positive until they told me I must direct debit. I have not, do not and will not pay this way. I queried if I could speak with someone about this. Lady on duty basically told me to try another provider as my only option. I pushed my query and was given the incorrect customer service number. After 30 mins of chasing the correct number through their automated system I was assisted by a young lady who was a delight. She and her manager were able to not only sign me up to an upgraded phone and plan, but do so without direct debit.If the store has just told me they didn’t have the authority to do this ,I would have Happily called. However, they were dismissive and disinterested and when the lady 15yrs my junior called me “love” I would also use the word condescending. Such disappointing customer service.

Appalling customer service. Everytime I've been in with an issue ( lots of issues) it's just to much hard work for the staff. They're all sat around on social media. As a business customer they told me they can't help me, yesterday I went in with my wife who isn't a business customer and they told her to call the call centre. Lazy Lazy Lazy !

Great service, Rick was very helpful and offered great advice that suited my needs and even saved me money !! Whole team got involved to assist and I walked out feeling very satisfied with my purchase.

My staff and I tried and failed to set up a simple prepaid sim card for our business (just activate and charge, right?), so I had to go in. Ended up having to buy a much more expensive product. No sympathy for the time we'd wasted or infuriating experience, instead the service rep actually laughed at me when I requested a refund for the sim we'd bought.
