This review is based on my experience. You will see my experience is likely a unique one.I went here for a couple of my high school years. I left this school sooner than planned due to my mental health greatly suffering due to my experiences at this school.I was severely bullied by 2 different kids (they were not working together). One kid was making rumours about me and excluding me non-stop.The other kid was ignoring me, refusing to work with me after a teacher instructing them to do so, making comments on my body and staring at me continuously. Continuously staring in a way that is intimidating is a form of stalking, which is illegal. The deputy principal (I think that’s what they were) did not do anything that resulted in this stopping. Across many months I met with her multiple times to report events. I believe after a few reports she spoke to this kid and called the parents (though I am not 100% sure). This only worsened the issue. After multiple reports of bullying and what is legally classified as stalking, this kid still got to be a part of the Student Representative Council. I found that pretty ironic! After months of bullying from the other kid, the principal spoke to them and possibly met with the parents. The active bullying lessened and nearly completely stopped but the person was not warm to me.I was made to feel like the whole class hated me. On school camp, kids would not sit next to me- despite me asking. One girl told me my clothes were looked “cheap” and pushed in front of me (who had been waiting ages) to the showers, saying she “doesn’t care” when I told her it was my turn. I was trying hard to have people like me, going as far as to buy people snacks. It didn’t work- instead I was told I was “trying too hard”.The school seemed surprised when I left, after months of bullying, exclusion from kids and kids picking on me. Leaving this school was a good decision. Feeling so hated, unsafe and unwelcome in school, a place I am legally required to attend, did damage. My happiness was gone.I have since been diagnosed with adhd and autism. If your child has either of these, especially autism, I do not recommend this school. The kids will possibly sense their differences and target them for it- it happened to me.Not all my experiences here were bad. Being a regional school it got funding, meaning experiences such as sport coaches coming to teach kids a sport was not rare. The school canteen was also great, especially the Mango Leather. This is my experience. The education is not bad for a neurotypical kid. But for me it, or the social side of it, was not great.I hope my experience can help others.

I spent most of Year 8 here but moved out of Carnarvon in October 2020. I was originally going here when moving in. They had no room so I spent a year in the Community College in town.I came to the school with a good beginning, now I was still used to being in the public school which was rough. Term 1 was great, I absolutely loved the school and did my best, term 2 and 3 were disgraceful. I'm ADHD and I do know about the back-chatting issues and slight defiance. Now these accidents that happened triggered the school to crack down to the extremes on me.Education is overall a 7/10, but the strictness on an ADHD student is harsh by my opinion. In term 2 it was nearing the end of the term and we were on track for a Good Standing Friday, I was new to these and was very excited, they went and tricked me into believing that I was participating and in the end just crushed it and I was sent for punishment. This completely squandered my trust and didn't even try to get it back. I advise that you get ready at the end of the term, It can be really fun or it can be nasty, be ready if you've been the slightest bit wrong. The teachers followed me around during lunch and recess, constantly harassing me, they gave me paranoia issues, I couldn't sleep at night because I felt that I was followed, it screwed me up. I spent term 3 too scared to move in these time periods, I stood there with my hands behind my back. I felt like I had no safety at that school, playing me along. There were lots of enjoyable classes.I'm not putting all the blame on them, I know about myself being a little bit wrong, I actually realised my mistakes but they just took those mistakes and continued them, so an afterschool detention is the beginning of the horror because more is coming, trust me. I'm only partly to blame for all this, the rest, nobody to blame but themselves. I am very angry with this school, because of the way I was treated before leaving, I actually tried my hardest to explain in detail how I felt which had no outcome whatsoever. Nothing was resolved, no support was given, I was on my own with only my family on my side, I didn't want to say anything to the other kids just in case they got rebellious against them, so if I wanted to, I could have had this school with completely negative looks, but I'm not, don't negatively rate this school, it's good if you're not me.To conclude my review, The education is 7/10, but because of these issues, I'm going to have to leave it at two stars. I never wanted give a negative review, but that was my only option. If you are ADHD, go to the public school and if you don't like it there, this is your alternative. I am still recovering from the paranoia that I ended up with as a result of this nasty mess. If you're reading this about to go there, education is great, but if you run into trouble, get the hell outta there. If you have heavy anxiety, stay the hell away from this school.

I became the mob boss of the school shortly after enlisting the help of my second hand man, kaggass, who lives at eight
