Exceptional food and excellent service. We had the best meal on a cold rainy Hobart day. Could not have asked for a better meal on our last day here. Kids loved it too.Highly recommend. Staff is so friendly.

Friendly/courteous staff, fantastic/well cooked food and the restaurant that deserves the top Malaysian place in Hobart. No time limit (seems to be a thing in Hobart) for our dine in and it would be better off if you had a reservation based on the size of this establishment. It is a kid friendly place without the posh mannerisms and the staff always have a smile.Kudos to the chef for creating a balanced (oil to food ratio) dinner for us and adding just the right tangy Malay touch.This place does accept Amex. It is also one of the cleanest toilet I've seen in a restaurant (to me that says a lot about an establishment).

Super lovely staff, really accommodating to all their customers. Food was incredibly tasty, look no further for a yum dinner! Would definitely recommend.

What a little gem. We have now eaten here a few times. Service great always with a smile and so polite. Food amazing, presented well. The dumplings are so good. Cleanliness very good. This cafe is always buzzing but we seem to go at the right time and get a table. You must visit.

I am glad we have Sawak Cafe in Hobart. The food is quite delicious and authentic. The price is also reasonable. If you are looking for a good Malaysian restaurant, try Sawak.
