The Boathouse
I stopped visiting this place a few years ago due to very high prices and small unimpressive portions, but when we went last week I found it had completely changed.Menu is now much more impressive, and portions are easily big enough.Prices are extremely reasonable, and I won't hesitate to go there again.Well done to the new owners making it a nice family friendly restaurant will pleasant, polite, and friendly staff.Location wise it's excellent, with parking outside, views across the river, and a huge kids playground next to it, so it's extremely family friendly.

Great selection of unique share plates and larger dishes, coupled with amazing outdoor seating alongside the Maribyrnong River. Great for morning brunch or later lunch.

I come here a lot and love the food and drinks. All the staff are really nice and accommodating. During the lockdowns they were open and staff love to talk to their locals

On a sunny afternoon, we took the outside table to make the most of the river and park views. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout the visit. The meals were fine but lacked the secret sauce to make them memorable.My fish with eggplant puree and grains was well cooked but didn't have any remarkable flavour. My friends had the pulled pork salad and Harissa roasted chicken pizza. Most of the experience came from the pleasant surroundings and helpful staff.

We love to go to the Boathouse. Wonderful view, good vive, friendly service and delicious food. Wooden fire pizza is my go for. The lamb salad was fantastic, and the tartar sauce was superb.

This is the second time my family and I came to this wonderful restaurant and we are truly delighted with the food and the atmosphere, I think that it really deserves a very good review. We will keep coming back. Thank you very much

Disappointing, such a shame that the view of this place is great but the food/service is not. The calamari entree, $17 bucks, wheres the rest of it? And the grilled pork, tastes like teriyaki chicken with last weeks potato salad. No good la.

Phenomenal Setting, beautiful terrace overlooking the river and a great playground for kids right next to it. The chili eggs were divine, and the service was fast and friendly. Will absolutely be back

Lunch 14June23Chilli and Crab Scrambled EggsTurmeric LatteFood was extremely heavy and overly oiley, looks decent but the flavours just didn’t work for me and the crab batter was a bit sickening.The turmeric latte was decent. The staff were friendly but did take a peculiarly long time to clear my plate
