Peter has fixed our washing machine twice. Both times he arrived really quickly, knew exactly what the problems were, fixed it really quickly, offered great advice, is very polite and friendly, and all at a very reasonable price. We have his number in speed dial and will definitely be calling him again if we have any appliance problems.

I bought a reconditioned Fisher & P washing machine nearly 12 months ago. It was 1/4 of the price of new, performs like new and I couldn't be happier. The personalised service was flawless and I highly recommend P & L Sexton Appliances. I live locally and support local business when possible.

Not often you review a service for which you didn't pay a cent nor meet the person providing it.Called Peter regarding a washing machine that lost all power. After a few questions he recommended that it wasn't worth repairing (Electrolux front loader) and recommended buying another model (top loader). Could have easily said I'll come and have a look and it'll cost you $100 but he didn't. Took his advice and scrapped the old machine.And don't ever buy an electrolux front loader - you'd expect a washing machine to last more than 2.5 years.

I called Electrolux because I was having problems with my washing machine. They said it would cost me $134 for the call-out plus the cost of any parts. Would not even give me an indication of what may have been wrong. I called Peter Sexton and he immediately diagnosed the problem over the phone and quoted me for the call-out and the part. He fixed it in 10 minutes and the final cost was considerably less than what he had quoted me. I highly recommend P&L Sexton Appliances if you want an honest and very handy washing machine repairer!

Excellent service. I called P&L Sexton about to enquire about fixing a recurring problem with my washing machine. Peter explained exactly what the issue was and how much it was going to cost to fix it. Even though I said it wasn't urgent, he organised to come out and fix it the very next day.Peter was highly professional, efficient, friendly and all-round a pleasure to deal with, and the washing machine works perfectly. Highly recommended!

Outstanding customer service. I called around and got multiple quotes to fix a broken handle/ door that would not open on my front loader washing machine. Peter's quote not only came in well under those of the others I have called but he also provided a clear quote for the multi repair scenarios depending on which component needed to be replaced, all without even having to see the machine. Peter's customer services was outstanding and the final invoiced cost was just as he had quoted. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Peter and his offsider Trevor and their team know their business. Besides holding parts for popular items that fail, they also know which appliances are economically worth repairing and which aren't. They also sell good reliable secondhand washing machines which they know how to fix. Despite being busy, they are able to respond to calls the same or next working day, with delays only if a particular part isn't in their inventory and needs to be ordered. A great honest local small business that (as an honest local small business owner) I can't recommend highly enough!

My washing machine broke down, and called P&L Sexton Appliances to get advice. Peter was so friendly and honest. He told me not to waste my money on a washing machine that was not worth it due to the problem it had. He instructed me about the possible washing machines I could buy. I am so thankful with this guy for being sincere. Now I have a new washing machine that suits me thanks to his advice.
