Battered at the Bay
I had Japanese visitors and brought them here for a sunset seafood dinner. When Japanese like the seafood it must be pretty dam good. I was impressed with the Greek salad too, made well with nice feta and olives. I frequented the old shop for many years, this is definitely an improvement.

Located just across the beautiful Frenchmans Bay and just walking distance from La Perouse Point, this venue offers amazing seafood and more!The restaurant has relaxing ambience with beach theme throughout. From the seating area you can enjoy the beautiful view of the bay.I started with the coffee and it was awesome. Strong, just the way I like it.Every dish I’ve tried was delicious but the highlights for me: the fish and chips, bbq platter and mixed seafood platter. The seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.

Great spot to stop for lunch. Everything is tasty and fresh. The customer service is friendly. The food came out quickly, even though it’s Good Friday. Deducted a star as the fish was a bit too oily and needed to drain a bit longer. But all in all, definitely would go again!

A very busy food outlet. Went there during lunch time. A good waiting of 15min for the food. Everything is freshly cooked. The only problem is I ordered 6 fish nuggets for take away. Until I opened my bag there was only 5 inside the box.

Great spot for some fish & chips with views of the water! Was able to get a table during lunchtime. Tables are well spread out as well.Had the battered catch & grilled barramundi. Food didn’t take long & tasted great! Would definitely come back here again.

Visited on a Friday lunchtime, was fairly busy, and only about 10mins wait for my food. Really good fish and chips! Couldn’t complain about the food at all, fish was juicy, and the batter was perfect, they even had malt vinegar! It’s not a British fish and chips, they don’t claim to be either, but this is one the best fish and chips I’ve had in Sydney. Will definitely return, I also love how they served the food on ‘newspaper’ lovely little touch :)If I had one improvement it would be to have a bigger tub of tartare sauce, maybe even a homemade one.

Went for a brunch on a very windy weekend day and was warmly welcomed by them. They just recently renovated the place opened on Boxing Day 2018. They have limited capacity (three tables) to sit inside, but there are plenty of seatings outside on the deck. It's a family owned place where you would find the whole family working to serve you. Had the whole grilled fish and calamari for food, both were good in taste, quantity however, could be better. I wouldn't say they have the best coffee, but still pretty good drinks. Overall, it's their warmth and cordial behaviour that leaves a great impression on you (of course if they are not too busy). Will visit again for sure :)

Wow Wow and did I say WOW !!! The best greek Sea food in Sydney .. Very authentic with Soft Greek music playing in the back ground...a dish you must order is the BBQ platter for 2 Yummmyy..Great position across the park where there is a beach to swim at .. very greek theme.. Come here if you want to taste a bit of Greece ..

The Great: staff very pleasant. The view is a beaut.The Not-So-Great: It was suggested that I try the grilled octopus for $16.50. That is the entree and portion size pictured. Definitely not worth the money spent. It tasted like calamari covered in sweet chili sauce to be quite honest. I ordered a back-up of calamari, which reminded me a bit of frozen fish sticks, which I personally do not care for. The sweet potato chips weren’t anything too amazing. For the food quality and price, I personally would try return. There are two other eateries surrounding the bay that look a bit more worth the money and has the experience to match. Really grateful to staff for being so sweet, but wasn’t too keen on the meal. Food quality deserved 2 stars, but gave 3 because of the staff and ambiance.
