Tasha did the floral design for my Blue Mountains wedding in June of this year and was absolutely beautiful to work with!My husband and I were on a fairly tight budget for our wedding but we also didn't want to compromise on quality and key features we love (which was definitely flowers for me).As soon as I spoke with Tasha, I knew she was 'the one' haha! Tasha made time for phone calls to discuss all the details, offering her advice and extra resources and providing background knowledge on how the flower process works. Her customer service was excellent and she made it her mission to make this part of our wedding planning a breeze.The flowers on our wedding day were just perfect.My bouquet was beautiful; my bridesmaids loved theirs and so many guests commented on how stunning the florals looked. Tasha was our florist for our wedding in Bowral in September 2022.Not only did she make the whole process seamless and go above and beyond to bring our vision to life, Tasha is incredibly talented.We could not have been more pleased with the beautiful floral creations Tasha created. I honestly don't know where to begin with Tash from The Flower Cottage. I think she would have to be one of the most genuine, talented, and down-to-earth people I have ever met.I happened to stumble across her Instagram page when I was searching for a florist for my wedding and I'm SO glad I did. From the get-go, Tash was so accomodating. She was super transparent about costs and was more than happy to work with my budget.We weren't able to meet in person due to covid restrictions, but honestly, it wasn't an issue and her communication went above and beyond in the lead-up to the day.The day finally arrived and I was honestly so speechless when I saw the work that Tash had created. Not only did she create beautiful pieces for myself and my bridesmaids, but also for my husband, his groomsmen, and our extended family.The reception florals were everything that I dreamed of and more. Tash turned the reception space into this modern, romantic fairytale.I don't think my words could actually do her work justice, so I have attached some images from the day.Roy and I cannot thank you enough Tash for the huge role you played in making our day the best day of our lives. Tasha immediately struck us as someone who understood both her accountability to the industry while still radiating a fun, empathetic and personalised approach toward us and all our suppliers.Like many weddings scheduled for 2020, our big day was postponed, creating a great amount of stress coordination with our vendors. The Flower Cottage provided a honest and hassle free commitment to us, allowing for flexible rescheduling and easy communication. Tasha was never hard to reach, book in, or meet with, and always engaged with us with a refreshing energy and enthusiasm. As the revised wedding date drew near and - as things often to - plans and stylings changed. Tasha always came to us with great ideas and suggestions without ever being intrusive or controlling. In combination with our own styling requests, Tasha also kept us up to date on market and popularity trends, while always respecting and working to our budget.As part of our package, The Flower Cottage provided an installation for our arbour, an assortment of eclectic table pieces, a large hanging installation, urn installations, chair end pieces, and boutonnieres among further accessories and floristry pieces. What is not listed here, however, was how much personalisation and craftsmanship that was injected into every item and accessory. Tasha worked carefully to involve our colours, preferences, and tokens to pull together a set up unique to our relationship. This was mainly achievable based on how much time Tasha had taken to understand us as a couple and learn what we wanted rather than make assumptions or rely on a prescribed template. What we got isn’t something that can be itemised - it was truly a display of artistry and the personification of rapport building skills.The centrepieces were prepared and delivered by Tasha and her team ahead of time and with coordination with our venue, making for an effortless installation. Our guests were in awe of how organic and fitting our decorations were, proving to us that Tasha had applied genuine and sincere consideration to the venue’s palette, layout, and theme. In particular, one of the largest installations was suspended above the bridal table, beautifully framing the room and the decorations around it. It made for a spectacular showcase that captured all of our guests attention and was a clear demonstration of Tasha’s floristry talents.On an administrative level, The Flower Cottage were nothing but a pleasure to work with. Although our original quotations involved hiring furniture and equipment directly from The Flower Cottage, our venue had since included most of these items in the package. The Flower Cottage made the revision process easy, understanding, and effective to ensure we weren’t unnecessarily duplicating any services.From a personal perspective, Tasha’s obligation wasn’t to our wedding, but to us. She became not just a cornerstone of the preparation and delivery of the big day, but a trusted ally and advisor to everything we needed help with. Most importantly, Tasha wanted the very best for us, and her ability to stoke a relationship is compelling enough to us to recommend Tasha and the Flower Cottage to anyone looking to embark on the wedding journey with a friend, not just a florist.

I cannot thank and praise Tash from The Flower Cottage enough!! The flowers for our big day turned out perfectly. I gave Tash some top level ideas of colours but then let her interpret these however she thought best. She completely understood the vision for our day and the process was a breeze! From the amazing floor arbour, to the details in the bouquets, and the simple bud vases on the guest tables. Communication was professional and easy, we were kept in the loop throughout the whole process, which made it stress-free! Just look at the creative results in our photos, gorgeous!
