The Laneway Theatre
The first time we got to know about The Laneway theatre was during the Melbourne lockdown where Tim Elis was running weekly zoom magic shows. Have been coming to this joint since last year. This year's show Dreamers is even better than last year's Magic menu. Highly recommend to visit this place to watch this or any of the Melbourne magic festival shows.

We saw Tim Ellis and I love magic but Tim is the old school magic and it was one of the best shows I have ever seen.Entering into the theatre is magical and out together so well, theres a small room where you also explore a few magic tricks yourself and well the loo has its own ongoing disco vibeGourgeous set up theatre, small and comfey seating for I think 36people. You really feel like part of the show and do get to see everything up close.Thankyou so much Tim, Marvelous Show- Highley Recommend and I will be back for sure

The Laneway Theatre
After watching each act with scrutiny. I am now of the firm belief that his magic is real, and the 'trick' was making the audience believe these are tricks. Tim Ellis is a master of his craft and has definitely been able to tap into an unexplained realm in which he can perform real magic. Some of the acts are completely unexplainable by physics and it is a mind boggling immersive experience that must be seen by any magic lover.

Lastnight was not our 1st time visiting The Laneway Theatre and I won't say alot about it because I dont want to spoil the surprise if you haven't been yet. I will say it is an amazing venue that I know you will enjoy.Tims new show Dreamers is a celebration of his 50th year performing magic and it shows. We had so much fun & loved the new show ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just left Tims incredible show filled with absolutely mind boggling magic with one of the most astonishing up close magic performances I have ever seen. Venue was amazing, menu was amazing and the house itself and home theatre is magical. But nothing on the illusions, tricks and straight up inexplicable magic we witnessed. Ellis is a master magician and we cannot wait to see his next show!

Our school is based in Sydney and we were able to enjoy a Zoom presentation by Tim Ellis. The students were totally engaged throughout the whole show and loved the way they were shown a few of the magic trick reveals. Would thoroughly recommend this incursion to any school. Tim was an excellent communicator as far as bookings were concerned and provided an extra bonus of link to some of the tricks, so that they can be shared at home.

Wonderful. Took a chance on a small what's on web page. Bought tickets, attended. Your mood is set just getting there and entering the theatre. (Worth the mystery and effort - so do it) saw close up magic show in an interesting, intimate proper looking theatre (once you get inside). Tim Ellis is awesome, professional, proficient and effortless. He appreciates applause, however, audience in stunned amazement at each magic trick. Easy parking, dinner across the street at Farina 00, says pizza, but delicious". You will taste the difference. Pleasant

From start to finish our night was filled with intrigue and wonder. The lovely personal theatre experience and very comfy seats and audience interaction was fabulous. Tim Ellis is the most wonderful magician and showman. We were left astonished with words of 'how did he do that' and 'Noway' at all of his tricks and moves.
