Cooltech Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Bundaberg

When we rang through to get a quote on cleaning our Mitsubishi home systems basic inverter we were quoted 215 dollars...The technician came on the third time....we had to chase the first 2 to find out where they were...He spent 3 hours unable to reassemble our first system before choosing to call for advice only to find out he had to rub a peice of sandpaper at the end to remove burrs... the next system took 50 minutes (note they are the same system type and brand...I was charged 600 for his time and another 275 because they chose to send along an apprentice along with a myraid of other charges equalling 1100 dollars..we have been attempting in vain to resolve this issue for the past 3 weeks..and each time get told we will receive a new invoice by the end of the day. Would not recommend.

Charged $150 for a 10 minute diagnosis. Added a charge called Misc" to the invoice. When I questioned them on it they removed it but still wouldn't tell me what the charge was for. Technician was good but the charges are just extortionate."

Very quick to turn up and start work. Older fellow was excellent young fella had no idea what he was doing. Thought the invoiced amount was too expensive for the work performed. I thought $500 would pull it in only to be charged nearly $700 I would not use this place again

Quotes are extremely overpriced & was a significant delay in receiving quote, I actually had to chase it up. Also found out the apparent quoted install would not be able to be done without having to add a pump as tech didn't measure up & it couldn't go on the wall they quoted it for as unit would be too big & piping would have had to have been run uphill to get up over a cupboard to get outside to the compressor. Not 'cool' at all guys.

I phoned & spoke to Fiona on 16/01/2023 who took all my details for repairs to my air conditioner & pool heater. I was told there would be a 6 week wait which I noted. I phoned & spoke to Fiona today to be told my details were not entered into the system but she could enter it in again (& wait another 6 weeks). NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!! Absolute rubbish service as I was treated with “attitude” when trying to have the situation resolved.

We had no idea what we needed, so we called Cooltech to advise us. Everyone has been very professional, pleasant and helpful, from the office staff to the installers. I'm planning on doing another room later and would most definitely call on them again

Wow, wow, wow ... WOW. We recently purchased a place in Bargara and had a very limited window for a quote and installation. Cooltech were on time, provided a sound quote and rescheduled work to install the following day. The job was SPOT ON, the staff were professional, courteous and friendly and we would use them again in a heart beat. We just can't recommend them more highly.

A very professional business. The admin staff were very helpful arranging the replacement of 2 old aircon units in our home.We were more than satisfied with the work they did. The lads arrived on time & we're efficient, knowledgeable & pleasant. They cleaned up well on completion of the job & removed the old systems from the property.My only request would be for a read" receipt of emails to acknowledge they have been received and/or actioned.Well done to Ange & Greg - a great business with a great team."
