This is a good short stop with scenery to enjoy. Shame there isn't much walking tracks to make the most of the area.

Hopkins Falls Scenic Reserve
I was in Warrnambool for the day so thought I'd stop by Hopkins Falls. Nice little waterfall with a decent size carpark, toilets and a BBQ. There are 2 upper viewing platforms and some steps down to the lower viewing area. Kid and elderly friendly. Top viewing platforms would be wheelchair friendly.

Not bad to kill an hour or so at but there isn't much magic to it. Kind of feels like your standing in someone's paddock looking at a rough old dam. The carpark at the top of the falls has a couple of lookouts straight off it and a 100m walk takes you to the base of the falls.

When we arrived, and look from the top left carpark, we only see a look like a Rocky try not much water river. Some people hop out their car to look n then disappointed n go back n drive of their car if not much people there. I recommend drive in and straight to the back of the carpark n park there as for when you hop out to look down to check the waterfall, you will be seeing the beauty of all. Deck lookout from the top for beautiful photos, n on the further right is a gravel dirt footpath n some steps to walk down. Wish they done it properly for safety as little slippery but must wear runners.The best waterfalls view
