We rang Jason the following morning and without hesitation allowed us to bring the car in right away and resolved our issue . Top bloke and very genuine. I have used Jason Smith Automotive several times and I am consistently surprised by how how efficient and knowledgeable he and his team are. I recently needed two VW parts replaced. It ended up costing me less than half of what I was quoted by other Mechanics and Body Repair works. Their service and communication is also great. Thankyou!

Jason has been awesome, he diagnosed and fixed my car after an brake down while we had be on a holiday. He went out of his way to get us up and running again. I would highly recommend Jason and would consider driving from Canberra to get him to work on my car.

Was recommended to go here by NRMA after having car issues down south.The mechanic knew we were not local and helped us by doing our car instantly vs the original 5hr wait. Fixed it within an hour and cost was very fair.Really appreciated the help thank you!

Jason Smith at Batmans Bay is one of the best mechanics I’ve ever come across - big call when you are over 55 and spent a lot of your life travelling Australia’s roads. My daughter blew up her Prado engine, she made a call mid school holidays and got it towed there. He looked after her so well, explained what needed to be done discussed the options (write off or replace).I organised a replacement he checked it was the right one got it delivered from Newcastle and put it in.Jason is a good communicator he kept me in the loop, answered my uninformed questions with respect and always returned my calls. When my daughter picked it up he took the time to go through what he had done, what he had found to keep an eye on and offered she could call him any day for advice on anything mechanical.Happy daughter back on the road, happy customers of Jason. Will be back for sure absolutely comfortable to recommend to others.

Our car went into limp mode about 15kms north of the Bay. Jason came out and diagnosed a turbo problem. He drove behind us till we got to the workshop and Ben said he'd have a look at the car even though he was really busy. Within the hour he had looked at the car, found the problem and FIXED it, all for a ridiculously low price. It seems a local rat had chewed through the hoses to he turbo sensor, yes, really. Ben made some new hoses and we were on our way. I can't praise their work highly enough. 12 out of 10, guys.
